NEW Xbox - $119.99 after rebate

This is not a brag and moan but more of an opportunity for peeps in my area. The Strawberries in Nashua NH near the Mall is substituting the holiday bundle for the plain jane unit. I just got one at 8:30 tonight. It came with 2 S controllers The DVD remote control and Clone Wars and Tetris all for $119 with rebate. This is to good to pass up, get em while you can.

i work at wherehouse music (owned by transworld if you didnt know already) and the rebates dont print up at the register. at my store they lay them out on the rebate table and you have to head over there to get the rebate form.

I wish I was near the NH store, oh well. I bought into this deal and asked my Strawberries if there were any free games that came with them. Over the phone they said that it came with one disc containing Star Wars Clone Wars and Tetris, but when I got there they said that they did not have that free disk around any more. However, they did throw in Sega GT 2002 for 1cent so I guess that was better than nothing.

Also, I had picked up the InterAct Xbox controller from RadioShack on clearance for $4.97. It is discontinued and hard to find, and it is the old style BIG controller - not the S type.

My rebate got rejected for the holiday bundle. That did not surprize me
I got a rejection postcard and took it down to strawberries in person and spoke with the same young woman who sold me the unit and swore the rebate would be valid. She looked me sraight in the eye and said "We will gladly pay you $30 in cash sir" I almost fvcking fainted. I was prepared to do battle and the war was over in 30 seconds. I hate to say it but I will be shopping at Strawberries again.
Modded the box today. Aladdin advance,FSFT $20, Seagate 120G ATHD $60 AR.
Evox and some really happy kids all for under $200. Life is good.
