Dunning Kruger posterchild is another concept you'll have to live with never understanding alongside hypocrisy and everything else. Or the simple fact that replies to you in a public forum aren't only for you to read.

Of course I live with it but on the other side of the better known effect you're talking of.

Their research also suggests corollaries: high-ability individuals may underestimate their relative competence and may erroneously assume that tasks which are easy for them are also easy for others.

It might fall victim to replicability crisis as well but my data point will remain true.

No, pretty sure people who can't figure out how basic hypocrisy works are rather dumb. Like for example someone who proclaims nobody here understands hypocrisy, yet hilariously criticizes others for not paying taxes but proclaim themselves smart for not paying taxes. So when trump camp feeds you this to parrot, are they or you the dumb one?

Just a heads up using big words you'll never understand won't work out better this time than it ever had in the past.

People who don't understand that criticising people for something you yourself do is a necessary but not sufficient condition, are not necessarily dumb but don't fully understand what the term entails.

I'm certainly not a dumb one, you're boring me with this prattle.

Just a heads up using big words you'll never understand won't work out better this time than it ever had in the past.

That's my line honey.

"I'm not obligated to answer your questions, got it."

I suppose you're also not obligated to answer what exactly distinguishes your thought process here from that of any other self-confident idiot.

That's my line honey.

Also fyi only dumb children think the "I know you are but what am I" argument ever works.

Sigh, this really belongs in the trash. This is the last reply you get.

You never provided other necessary conditions, because you can't, which is why everyone can see you're the self-confident idiot.

Sigh, this really belongs in the trash. This is the last reply you get.

I'm sure your teachers are leftist dummies because the "I don't have to give any answer, I just know I'm right" argument didn't work with them either.

There are two key points to this story. First, Trump claims we should vote for him because he's a business genius, yet he somehow managed to lose over $900 million in one year, in casinos, in a booming economy. According to analysts, that same "genius" concocted a plan that will add $5 TRILLION to the national debt and send the U.S. into a recession. It will, however, make Donnie richer which highlights his real genius: conning gullible fools. He is perhaps America's greatest conman.

Second, Trump has regularly shamed others for paying too little in income taxes while simultaneously apparently paying no income taxes himself. For example, he once tweet-shamed the Obamas for only paying 20%, and ended it with "Do as I say, not as I do." That is the textbook definition of shameless hypocrisy. I'm not sure if you're truly to dumb to understand this, or if you're just another dishonest Trumpster, standing up for your man. Either way, you are dismissed.

You may want to crawl back to r/The_Donald. It's a safe place for the faithful, a fortified bubble where you never have to worry about facing reality.

Nope. I'd be more convincing if I were 'haha'ing with the echo chamber.

Don't. It's his usual schtick, nothing new at all. But it is at a minimum painful to read. Hell, I can have more intelligent conversations with my Lab...or a doorknob...or a sack of hair.

Again, criticising someone for doing what you do is a necessary but not sufficient condition.

The twitter incident you give is the textbook definition of criticising someone for their hypocrisy. He's using his opponent's rulebook to crucify them. Just like sexually libertine atheists criticising a god-fearing church-going family man for having an affair are not being hypocrites but making him live up to his own rulebook.

If you can't see that after I've explained it here again and again and again, then you don't deserve a reply either.

You may want to crawl back to r/The_Donald. It's a safe place for the faithful, a fortified bubble where you never have to worry about facing reality.

hahaha, Clinton winning means more H1Bs and immigration for us.

You don't even have to worry about facing reality because you'll never recognize it because you're clueless to the end.

To reiterate, whatever helps you sleep at night.
Also remember to chant 'reality has a liberal bias' 100 times.

Here is how debt parking works. Suppose the debtor (in this case The Donald) is going to get his debt cancelled for (say) 1c in the dollar. When he gets the debt wiped out the debtor (ie The Donald) will have to report assessable income equal to the debt wiped out (in this case 99 percent of $916 million).

The alternative though is for the debtor to set up a dummy party. The dummy party might be his wife or children or some company or trust set up by them or more likely some completely opaque offshore trust.

And that dummy party goes and buys the debt for say 1.1 cents in the dollar. Then they just sit there.

They don't force the debtor (ie The Donald) to repay. They don't make a profit or loss on the debt. And because the debtor never has his debt forgiven he never gets the assessment on debt forgiveness and he gets to keep his NOLs even though the losses did not come out of his pocket.

Every tax system worth its salt has some rules on "effective debt forgiveness" to prevent debt parking. And - from my experience which is now over twenty years old - none of them work entirely.

Now if Donald really has all those tax losses its pretty clear that the debt must be parked somewhere.

There is a vehicle out there (say an offshore trust or other undisclosed related party effectively controlled by Donald Trump) - which owns over $900 million in debt and is not bothering to collect it.

WRONG!!! </trump>

Given that I started this thread, and I called out Trump's phony business "genius" in the very first post, it is very much a key point in this conversation. I understand why you want to ignore it, of course, since it undermines Trump's only possible qualification for POTUS. Without his business "genius", all Trump has to offer America is his skill as a conman. That may be enough for his flock, but it won't solve America's problems.

I can see the same thing everyone else here sees: you desperately trying to redefine "hypocrisy." Sorry, we aren't buying it. But, don't take it personally. We aren't buying Donald's alternate reality either.

No, it was not a key point in the conversation I have had. So you're 'WRONG'.

Again, that's my line.

You're literally too goddamn incompetent to provide a short clear definition of a simple word, yet somehow believe you're the smart one. Meeting someone like you is likely what motivated David Dunning and Justin Kruger to conduct their research.

See, is anybody talking about Don not paying taxes any more? No, because he managed to provide even more explosive narrative. As soon as this one starts to die down, there would be something else which will pop up and people will forget about his groping. Will it be his tirade filled with N words next? Of course, nothing will make a difference to his support. That was established with his shooting his supporters in broad daylight on 5th avenue well back in January.

I thought of the Donald when reading this article-

What these little wasps accomplish with venom he accomplishes with words...
