@Gideon

Doesn't sound like an unbiased source unfortunately.

My prediction - IPC about the same as Skylake/Kaby Lake, but not able to clock as high.

Wait a second, it wasn't long ago you were telling us that Zen will clock at 4Ghz stock. Now you casually mention 4Ghz is for somehting as high as 150W TDP?

I think that it could clock up to 4GHz base stock, but i posted this graph only to show that IF zen draw 95W at 3.5GHz, then it will draw 150W at 4.2-4.3GHz...

So I take it you maintain your prediction of 8c/16t @ 4Ghz with 95W TDP?

Probabily will be all core turbo and not base. I hoped more because of previously BD ESs (2.6-2.8 and 3.6 launch), but with and overvolted Zen ES at 3.4Ghz at less than 80W on blender make me think that at least 3.6-3.8 base is feasible. 4 base would be the upper limit of my forecast, but at this point i think that a 4GHz base clock part will be out at 2H17, when the process matures... With XFR i would say that 4GHz mean frequency on blender and handbrake would be feasible even with these first batches... I heard of power under control, albeit higher than 95W, even with 4.2GHz...

Lol at the CPUs pic, then the 4.3GHz conspiracy

Yea you believed launch SKU >4-4.5GHz base 95W and spent pages pushing it in everyone's face. You even said 5GHz 1Core Turbo!

We told you it wouldn't happen but you continued being irrational.

That Blender scene is pretty low FPU utilization, 60% power on my Broadwell.

It should be within 100W at 4GHz with regular MT loads, this is assuming that the power curve exponent is at most 2.5 between 3.4GHz and 4GHz, wich is a lot since it could start at 2.2 at 3.4GHz and end at 3 at 4GHz, so that s a more than reasonable assumption given that we are talking of barely 20% higher frequency than what was demoed.

I said 4 base and 4.5 turbo. Don't invent thing to mock me.

BTW another ES at 3.6GHz base clock... https://twitter.com/aschilling/status/817014750018056194

ES after ES the base clock grows...

What we were saying?

These infos are old... Now we have another ES at 3.6GHz base... Still 95W.

PLEASE NOTE: still ES and not retail sample...

but but but.... but..... but....... FO4.....
3.6GHz base, 3.9 turbo (Zen ES) VS 3.2GHz base, 3.7 turbo (6900k)... And rising (pun intended)...
Again... What other explanation do you have? Have you ever idea of what the FO4 is? Enlighten me, please...
