You are telling me ram shipped out on the 15th from TN has not arrived in MA? Then when I inquire about it and point out shipping was 4-7 days and nowhere does it state business days and even if it said business days isnt DHL open for business on Saturday along with the post office so that is a business day. Now you are telling me that DHL has until the 27th to deliver it. WTF

Newegg your customer support and shipping has been going down hill for a while. I guess all good thing comes to an end.

Pay extra for upgraded shipping if you're buying any time within a week or two of Christmas. I paid for 2-day shipping on one item (only an extra $4) and it came in after about 4 days. Normally I'd be pissed, but given the holiday season I let it slide.

Shipping isnt slow during the holidays. They staff themselves to handle it. I deal with shipping a lot. I shipped out a package via priority mail on Monday to TX. They already got it. There was no "holiday delay" it arrived early. I've been buying stuff from Newegg 10 yrs. and they are how they use to be. Today is the 7th day if Saturday and Sunday is included.

But "business days" usually means M-F so they do not count (and this Friday is xmas eve so it might not either). Your rant is ruled invalid unless the package fails to arrive by the end of 7th business day after it shipped.

I ordered a video card on Monday. The expected delivery date is tomorrow, Wednesday, using the default UPS 3 day shipping. 3 day delivery seems pretty fast to me.

This is from NJ to Chicago, so not a long way though.

Also, with DHL doing the pickup and dropoff at USPS, if DHL can show the dropoff was done within the 4-7 days they've fulfilled their promise. If USPS sits on it for 3 more days it's not DHL/Newegg's fault.

There are a lot of banks that are open on Saturdays, but they consider it part of Monday from talking to the tellers in the past. This could be that type of situation.

It sounds like the shipping company is really to blame here, I don't think this is Neweggs fault.

I just renewed my amazon prime membership. I am an impatient sob just like yourself and I found myself over paying for stuff at B&M stores just so I could have it same day. I figured I can wait a day or two so I am trying amazon again and just got me a year of prime.

Even though a lot of retail stores are open Saturday & Sunday, for shippers, such as UPS / Fedex / DHL / US Postal (who has branches open on Saturday and mail pickup / delivery on Sat), business days are counted and treated as Monday to Friday. For most shippers, packages will move between hubs even at night and weekends. But most deliveries will be on Mon-Fri, now and then we see UPS & Fedex on a Saturday, USPS also on a Saturday, Sunday only if it is a Next Day Letter or other Guaranteed Overnight Delivery option.
