Newegg finally has the DFI Lanparty UT 250GB NForce3 chipset mobo

I stopped shopping at newegg last year. To much of a fad, mods the price too quick of hot items..Plus they are not always cheapest anymore.

There are as good of vendors out there like mwave.com and zipzoomfly.com and

I'm even starting to like gameve.com even though they sent me two bad video cards because the paid for shipping back and even gave me an additional 5% discount on my third card for all my trouble. Newegg would never do that.

Recieved mine today for the 112.00 price. I think Newegg is pretty good for standing behind there price. Now just have to buy the cpu an cooler for it.

I'm in the process of installing XP on mine right now. If you're NOT running raid, you don't need the drivers on the floppy. I'm installing to a Raptor and I didn't have to supply any drivers to the install.

NO it's not gouging. It's supply and demand. The market decides what the price will be, ultimately. If nobody wanted the damn thing they'd be giving them away. If there was only one left in the entire world they could probably get 300-400 bucks for it. Maybe more depending on how bad somebody wanted it. And the mission of any business is to make money. If you don't like the price, don't buy. They are cheaper other places, emicrox has them for $117, but Newegg's overall performance is superior to most other online retailers. This is where the additional cost of the product is realized.

havent upgraded my main system in over a year now
thinkin of NF4 SLI 939, AMD 64 3600+, a gig of PC3200 RAM and TWO 6800 GTs
i better start saving hehehe

I never would have guessed that the P4 2.4C is faster than A64 3200+ CH...... could this be just a reflection of clock frequency? in that case, why do you even need a test, just look at the clock ! I guess it's the same reason you need to suffer through 3dmark05 just to figure out that 6800U runs at lower speed than x800xt.... but we already knew that, and we also know that it doesn't reflect overall real world performance, because overall real world performance depends on a few other factors besides clock speed.
