I was planning to buy this after christmas cause I figured prices would drop a little then so I haven't been watching prices real close....Is this a good price? any guess how much better prices will be around the New year?

At the moment, this is the best price and only place that has it except Canada and places charging $300. When all the shops get it, it'll drop to $200 and go down a little more.

If they are in stock then, which i would hope they would be...I doubt it'll come much lower than 200$. 30$ more from a reliable source such as newegg is well worth it imo.

Wasnt their original manufacturer's suggested retail price $199? If so then eventually they'll fall back to that level once the demand eases off or supply finally catches up demand. Which probably wont be for at least another month. I'm guessing january prices will remain well above $200 as well. Still alot of people waiting till after the holidays to buy one.

And yeah the price listed is a fair price in today's market.

Its pretty sad, they go OOS before they can even send the email reminders. I have been on auto notify, but never got a notice. I just happend to remember today was the expected restock and checked shortly after 6pm

Yup, I got one. I went to the site about 10 min before it was supposed to be released and went click happy on the refresh button. I had one in the cart and being processed less than a min after it came in stock. After missing out last time I was being super anal this time to make sure I got one. I wish I would have paid for over night shipping though. I just upgraded to 2 day shipping and thanks to some slow processing I won't be getting it until Tuesday
