Not 100% sure. If need be, I can always upgrade that later.

yeah I'll post mine for sureLol.
One of you new 7970 owners needs to please start a 7970 retail overclock thread with your results, if you plan to overclock, once these cards start arriving. I would really appreciate hearing clocks you get on stock volts and with extra voltage if you're going there.
MSI Afterburner is already updated for 7970 voltage control.

They are the largest supplier of of AMD cards in the world. I've also read they are AMD's supplier of R&D boards, but I can't find my links to where I read that or confirmation of.
with Sandy Bridge at 4.0 it would not be too bad but no way would I run 7970 crossfire and a 930 oced to 4.0 with that power supply. it will probably be just fine at stock but i would be scared to crank the 7970s at all since that cpu is already using ton of watts.E
He'll be good. The 7970 is pretty civil on power use for all that fps power.
I run a heavier setup than you with the same PSU, you will be fine (I use at least 100 Watts more). Not 100% sure. If need be, I can always upgrade that later.
Anybody thats ordered a Sapphire 7970, can you confirm if it is shipping out of NJ or CA? Just want to know if I need to overnight it or not.

yeah I am pretty sure they do not ship on Sunday night...Can't speak for anyone else, but I have not gotten shipping info... my guess is they cannot ship until tomorrow.

Measured power consumption for two cards in Crossfire
Mind you that the system wattage is measured at the wall socket.
- System in IDLE = 166W
- System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 567W
- Difference (GPU load) = 401W
- Add average IDLE wattage ~6W
- Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 407 Watts
Nice, this right here is a single GPU with more power then a 5970.
PowerColor and XFX just went OOS. Only 15 HIS left. All of those freaking eBay gougers.
