alright i just ordered from newegg and instead of my stuff comming from cali its comming from Edison, NJ.

when did this happen :Q

now my stuff gets here even faster

They could just be using a DELL-like supply chain. Instead of a product shipping from manufacturer A to e-tailer B to consumer C, they are just shipping from A to C.

sorry to bring this back up, but i just noticed it - this sucks

theyve had a shipping depot in NJ for a while but now they are charging sales tax, guess someone caught them - oh well, no more business from me, unless i have them ship it out of state.

The same thing happened to me, but all it did was piss me off. I payed for 2 day shipping, living in SE New York. I could have picked up the goddamned package and been back with 5 or so hours. As it was, it took the package FOUR days to arrive, 1 day due to it "not being due for delivery," the other days to I don't know what. I really dislike Fedex at this point...

Doesn't bother me. Now I get stuff even faster (I'm in NC). Placed order on Tuesday, shipped from NJ Tues, arrived today (Thursday). No complaints from me (or taxes)
