I got my rebate 1month late, try something like this
1st email:
I have not received my rebates its been blah blah blah....
fist name, last name, mailing address, store name, product model number, and purchase date as registered on the rebate form
-then expect an automated responce back its in the mail wait 2-3 weeks (you wont actually receive it)
2nd email:
Subject: rebates, your name, "final demand before legal action"
Unfortunately I still have not received my rebates for:
fist name, last name, mailing address, store name, product model number, and purchase date as registered on the rebate form
example of my email body:
It has been far past the 14wks of the postmark of the program (11/30/04). I as a customer have met all terms of the rebate which is an agreement between me and soyo/verifiyrebate.com. If I have not *received* my checks in the mail by the end of this month *(4/30/05)* I will file with the BBB and at the same time (without waiting for action from the BBB) I will contact my attorney to seek further legal action. At that point it will become less an issue of money and more an issue of morals since it will cost me more then I am seeking in rebates. It would be unfortunate for both partys if it got to that point and hopefully we can resolve this issue without legal action within the next couple weeks.
Thank You
my name
The Key is
be nice yet
make a demand, in order for you to take legal action you have to make a demand (say 2 weeks after you send the email) and if your a jerk some moron getting payed $6hr to answer emails isnt going to go out of his way to do anything, being nice is allways good if you want something from somebody, then when you get what you want you can whisper to yourself under your breath #@%$%$@%@#!!!! all you want
then email this to:
