Newegg officially sucks!

It's bad enough that Fedex costs twice as much as UPS and shipping additional items is full cost.

Used to be that they'd ship something the day you ordered it if you got in your order in before 1pm or so. Last night I ordered a 512mb stick of Corsair ValueSelect to properly run my GIS software and it didn't ship today! If it doesn't ship tomorrow I will burn my old Newegg invoices and scatter the ashes to the four winds. :brokenheart:

That being said, I hardly buy anything fro NewEgg anymore. They used to be the sh!t, but now they are slow and overpriced. ZipZoomFly is now my etailer of choice with their free 2nd day shipping

Wow, I could have saved $3 and had my RAM by Friday if I had ordered from ZZF. Why didn't anyone tell me how good they are?

I've never had a problem w/ Newegg...and when i've ordered from them it's actually come at least a day before it was supposed to. ZZF is great, but for some reason, all my newegg orders get bumped up to faster shipping for free...

so for me, ZZF = Newegg

until newegg fvcks up, of course

umm I have never ordered from Newegg. But I ordered a CPU+Thermal paste from Mwave.com (in cali) little before 5pm CST and received it package the next day in the afternoon. They are like jimmy johns.

add: shipping cost for overnight was 21 bucks

The jacka$$ at Fedex left my package in the front of my apt building (unsecured area) cause newegg according to Fedex: "According to our records, your package was release because your shipper did not indicate a signature option for this shipment. " How the hell are you going to let the shipping company drop off a $100+ package at the front of the building? I ain't too happy with newegg right now.

Newegg fvcked themselves out of the driver's seat with me, too.
I just got my stuff from ZZF today. They got everything to me in perfect shape, record time, and beat 2 other retailers (atacom and ewhiz) and an ebay dork who was mailing from one state over by Priority Mail.

Newegg's pricing algorithm can also suck my balls.

I've never had a problem with newegg, and all of my orders FedEx shipping is cheaper than UPS. Not only that, but everything shows up 1-2 days early depending on what day of the week I ordered it (2 days if I order on a Tuesday, 1 day if I order any other day).

Their RMA system is perfect, too. One can't ask for better customer support. I made the mistake of having my case shipped UPS and it showed up with a big dent. Newegg shipped me a new one, no questions asked and free of charge, and even let me keep the old one. I bought a faulty ASUS motherboard too - once again, no questions asked, but I had to send that one back =p I forgot to send back a few of the cables, but that wasn't a problem with them.

Newegg rules, I know I can count on them for good customer service, fast shipping, and cheap prices.

For me, Fed Ex, is noticably more expensive than UPS.

I've yet to have a bad experience with newegg, but nowadays I order from places with corporate business accounts for work (PC Connection, CDW, etc). They have higher prices up front, but with corporate discounts it's all a wash.

For the home user ZZF is good.
