It says cash back is limited to a maximum of $50 total in the terms & conditiions which does take some of the fun out of it ... I'm not certain if its on anything they sell or only the items listed on that page though.

It's definitely any item. When you go to PayPal during checkout, you'll reach a page confirming the 20% deal.

But it expires on 11/28 (on newegg, anyway). Can't really wait around for new products or hope for more 8800GT stock.

I just pulled the trigger on this too. I'd been shopping for parts for a new rig, and this looks like a great time to buy. I got:

$480 up front, $430 after the $50 cash back. The WD HD benches at close to Raptor speed, and is $149 on sale now, normally $180'ish.

question: for those have taken advantage of this, did anyone ever get any confirmation on the $50 back? The only thing I saw was one of the pages leading up to the final confirmation, mentioning the promo. I never saw anything that confirmed a cash back coming.

I don't think this has been covered, but for Newegg the only items elegible to get the Paypal 20% discount are the ones located on this page:

I just bought 3 sticks of memory not listed on the Newegg/Paypal 20% off "Holiday" page at:

..and checked out through PayPal. Did not see any special page or note confirming the 20% discount, and it did not appear in the pricing summaries at either Newegg or Paypal.

Other discussion lists have postings from people who say they called the Newegg and/or Paypal customer service and are getting conflicting info on the deal, but most are leaning toward concluding that the offer is only for the items on the promo page. I'm not saying they are correct, but just adding to the quandry.

I don't think 20% off via Paypal is for ALL ITEMS @ NewEgg (from now till 11/28/07). Offer shows up in my e-mail but it didn't spell out that promo is good for all items. Someone needs to call and confirm.

It looks like only 1 promo code per order. I am getting the memory 2x2gb and wanted to add the 500gb sata. Will i need to do the sata on a seperate order? If I paypall each order will I get back 20% of both orders? Seems silly as I was much more inclined to get the sata if I could in the same order. If seperate maybe I'll go to frys for the seagate instead?
Anyway to do 2 promo codes per order? Will i be allowed if I do 2 orders?
