That's not what your mom calls it.no one gives a flying shit about your small package

This. It didn't get from Kansas City to Rocklin, CA in one minute (12:49 to 12:50).Fail. It's not in CA yet, it's in transit to CA.
i think newegg engages in some questionable business practices. we all remember the problems with the fake i7's. yesterday i was going to order an item and i was looking at the reviews and someone has given them 5 eggs and a review that read something like this: "i ordered the item and received it three days later but it was the north african version, so i just called cs up and told them i needed the u.s. version and they sent it right away. bravo to newegg!!" ???????
(Everyone else does it...)
I ordered a hdd from New Egg. It got to Rocklin, CA on the 23rd. It's scheduled for delivery on the 28th. I could literally crawl on my belly between here and Rocklin in 5 days. Maybe less!
In fact, I have to drive through Rocklin to get to my daughter's place to install the item once I get it.
I will never order from them again!
Yes I will.
/cry baby attack
UPDATE
I received a PM from NewEgg. They asked about my order number to confirm what I had wrote. Once they confirmed it, they called UPS to see what was going on. They got response from UPS that really clarified nothing but at least NewEgg cares/tries.
 NewEgg
I was just ranting because the package got to the UPS warehouse in Rocklin on the 23rd and isn't scheduled for delivery till the 28th. That means it will just sit in their warehouse for 5 days.
Not at all NewEggs fault. Just a nuance of UPS.
I saw UPS in the first post and immediately put the blame there.
They are useless. Completely.
A lot of it comes down to your local distribution center and driver(s).
I haven't had a single problem after hundreds of packages on the receiving end from them, and very rarely even a dented box. My driver is cool about it, though, as he always comes up to the door, rings the doorbell, and leaves the package right there (authorized to do so, as it is safe neighborhood).
I have heard of UPS ninjas just hurtling boxes at the door, which isn't a good idea, even if they are trained to make deliveries within a certain amount of time.
