My reward for me is the hardware I get, and the free goodies they advertise on their site for when you buy. But hey, different strokes for different folks eh?

i hate people with this attitude...they think cuz they are spending a little more than the average joe they are better than them there for they shoould get incentives...i work retail at the largest retailer besides walmart and we have people who will come in and spend a few hundred dollars and then think they should get more attention then the person who is just looking for advise or getting price quotes...work retail and youll understand that everyone should be treated equal and just bc you spend more doesnt mean you are "better" or should get more incentives

Couldn't agree with you more. Food service is the same way, it shouldn't matter if the person is spending $10 on just a salad and bread, or buying $1000 bottles of wine. Treament should always be the same (but maybe with a few more smiles for the person buying the wine)

yeah, but the fact is, if he follows the same procedures as outlined in this thread, he, too, will get a t-shirt, pen, whatever. It's not like he is being slighted. I could care less how much money has been spent. IMO, if we can all gets free stuff, GREAT!

I just wish I had another package in transit for my 2nd review. I guess it is one thing to place it to help a company you believe in, but it is a little disappointing to post the review expecting some comepnsation and get a very vague and non-personal thank you.

My reviews have not been biased at all, but the added incentive made me take the effort to register with the review site, repl;y to the email to activate my account to allow the review, and then actually go through the steps of the review. My first review at Resellerratings.com took at least 15-20 minutes to actually review, not including account setup time. The PriceGrabber review did not take as long, but still.... I guess my biggest complaint was that the email reply seemed so weak. It was only a few lines and seemed almost like a canned response. That kinda sucked, but would be gladly forgiven for another shirt or some other freebie....

Deuce24 and BigJimbo,

You guys failed to read the initial post of this thread. NewEgg is a winner AS well as the recipients of the rewards. Happy customers who receive the Rewards order more frequently and the orders are larger than those who do not do the Rewards. It's a WIN/WIN situation for NE and us!

NE employees get a morale boost as well. Those reviews get posted at their various facilities. They had 4 warehouses at last count.

Weeee. I just ordered 3 items from Newegg and 1 package is coming from New Jersey and 1 from California. I someday hope to get a package from all 4 at the same time.

Best regards.

dude amazon crawls compared to the Egg. I order on Monday and have my order on Wednesday. I'm in Ohio too...now that is great service. Their prices are great too.

Hard to beat New Egg.

IMO, newegg is fantastic. bought an antec case from them back in the day. HOWEVER, i also believe freebies are a waste. I applaud their CS for trolling boards, but I think that rather than spending $ on freebies, they should offer more discounts. After all, the reason we really go to newegg is because of 1) low prices and 2) great customer service. no one goes for the freebies. If they want to stay on top, they should work on 1 or 2. Lesson 1 of the internet bubble is that freebies dont mean $hit to consumers for loyalty purposes. I've got a ton of company toys and so do you. But i dont look to my mugs to tell me what the best prices are.

Kudos to Newegg. I have only ordered from them a half dozen times, but each experience was smooth from start to finish.

That's actually quite impressive:
My track record in Columbus, OHIO Order 5/22 5 pm - fedex tracking starts the 23rd - delivered 5/29
Order 5/23 10 pm - fedex tracking starts 5/27 - delivered 5/29

granted, there are other orders over non-holiday weekends that arrived 3 days after order submission, but having on wed tops that.

Just trying to prove a point...

New Egg Rocks

Agreed. I placed an order last Sunday 6/1, it was shipped from California to Kentucky on Monday 6/2, and

here is the tracking info. If that's not impressive for some people, then nothing else will impress them ever.

Thanks to the original poster. Just sent the e-mail with address and I got a tshirt, crucial keychain, gigabyte card holder thingie, and some case stickers.
Well deserved too. I placed another parts order at 5:30 last night (I live in Florida) and NewEgg sent me a tracking number at 9pm. Expected delivery is Friday. You just can't beat that company.

They just sent me a T-shirt, key chain, and a couple of other miscellaneous items.

It's great to deal with a good company like NewEgg that not only treats you right and gives you good prices when you buy things from them, but also when you compliment them.

Just use the email address that you registered with newegg (usually your login ID) and they will do the rest.

hey, just wondering if anyone has gotten 2 (or more!) rewards. not to be greedy, but after i emailed newegg my letter of praise (all heartfelt, not just to get to booty!), when they sent my the stuff they also included a letter asking me to post on some reseller rating sites. the letter said to let them know what i'd done and suggested more rewards might be forthcoming. i dutifully posted to the sights in question (again, all true, the booty was just a nice incentive to take the time to do it!), emailed newegg with links to my reviews, but have not received any kind of confirmation from newegg that they got my mail, much less another rewards pack. anyway, i guess i am greedy, 'cause i'm still kind of hoping i can get another package. anyone actually get more than one?

Just popped back into reading the last few posts... If I recall, all my Egg orders have come from CA and I believe I've received them all in 2 days!! I'm in Minneapolis, MN The last one I ordered at like 3:30 NE time and it was still here in two days, all without doing the "rush" option. Maybe it helps that I have my stuff delivered to my work, a business address...

Order sometime Mon, have it Wed. early am., etc... Maybe I should write some reviews...

Hail to newegg, super business, super customer service, and great selection of products. No complains here. The few times they screwed my orders they made up immediately without a question asked.

Just to give a head's up, I got an email yesterday that my NewEgg order had been shipped. Checked it out, and sure enough, it is another "Thank You" package. I checked FedEx tracking early this morning, and it had been scanned and was leaving Indianapolis. So...from it's about halfway (via latest tracking scan) from Cali to MD.

EDIT: Just checked after typing the above message. Turns out it left Indiana yesterday at 2:30pm and as of 8:09 this morning, is on truck for delivery. I originally checked this morning about 7am, which is why I didn't see the updated info. Woohoo!

Got my stuff yesterday.

NewEgg Lan Party T-shirt, 2 case badges, and a Gigabyte glass etched business card holder. Pretty nice, but I don't have a whole lot of use for the business card holder since my job does not require business cards in the first place. But...it was still very nice.

Get a real job then J/K

I wonder how much money they spend sending all these goodies out? I like getting the free gifts, but I just wonder how long they can keep giving out free stuff?
