How long does the process usually take?

Is there anyway cross-shipping can be arranged?

Or do they have to receive your item first, and that's it?

I know for a fact Nintendo/AMD offer cross-shipping, and i you fail to send back your item, they just charge your CC for what they shipped.

its very fast. they receive your item first, then you give 'em a max of 2 days for them to check it then they email you what they are going to do- usually ship you a new one but sometimes they give you a full refund if its not in stock. they are generally very good about RMAs

On ram they often will send you the same stick back. Put a sticker on the device to make sure they don't send the same on back.

My chaintech mobo took a total of 9 business days! :thumbsdown: They were pretty quick on the return, i blame FedEx because it took from Monday to Friday to go from Philly to LA.

I ordered the wrong KVM cables and just RMA'ed them. Shipped 3 days ago USPS Priority. We'll see what happens.

I never have good luck with shipping through newegg. I dont see what all the hype is about 2 and 3 day shipping. I have never got a package within 6 days afetr 2 years of orders with newegg. Sure the rma works ok, but it takes a while.

And they dont even have the best prices anymore.

Maybe FedEx just doesn't like you.
I'd say 75% of the time I order from Newegg, I get my stuff in within 3 business days using just FedEx saver. (1 day for Newegg to ship, and 2 days for FedEx). I've never had Newegg not ship on the day of purchase or the next day.

I agree, I don't think FedEx likes you either. I usually get stuff within 3 business days from Newegg. Most often it's shipped from thier CA warehouse and I live in GA. Cross-country in 3 days ain't too bad at all.

I requested an RMA through them about an hour ago, will be shipping it out to CA Monday afternoon via USPS Priority. The RMA type is refund, meaning they will be refunding me my money correct? My issue is with a defective (I told them incompatible because that is what it really is) stick of memory with the mobo I have (been getting various memory leaks, and one or both of the sticks failed the LRAND test on MSFTs Memory test). I should get the full refund, minus the restocking fee correct? Thanks for the help!

newegg shipping for me is the shiz.... they are the only online vendor i use. theres something to say about 2 to 3 day (always) free shipping and the fact that their business practices seem to be very good. i only had one problem with them and that was that the rma system takes a bit of time... other than that... i will use newegg for everything.

I ordered a mouse from Newegg on Tuesday @ 9:00 am and I had it on Wednesday @ 12:30 pm -- NewEgg ROCKS !!!!!

When I had ro RMA RAM for being the wrong type, it took them 24 hours to process a RMA number. Then I sent it 3 Day Priority mail, and I got my replacement within 2 days after they received my package. So anywhere between 5-7 days. For an RMA, I'd say that's fast!

Got a case through them that was bent and broken. The container was in fair condition. Submitted MRA, shipped case back, got several email responses. Received the replacement in 2 days. Total turnaround 5 days including a weekend. It was a different, new, good one. But then, NewEgg is 13.6 miles from my shipping address.

I expect a refund, since it is a refund RMA. I'd hate for my memory issues to happen again if they just send me two of the same sticks back. lol

An RMA is one area where Newegg isn't the best, they charge a 15% restocking fee if the product isn't defective. Other than this, its a pretty straightforward process.

I've never had anything take more than 3 business days to get from Newegg to me.. if it ships from NJ, I usually get it in 2 (I'm in Maine)

As for their RMA process, I don't have any complaits. I've RMA'd PSU's, Motherboards, Processors, RAM... and it has always taken them 2 days or less from the time they receive the component to the time they ship it back.

I've never RMA'd a product that wasn't defective, but I am aware that they charge a 15% restocking fee, which kinda blows.

Their process is very simple to complete too.. ATI's is a fuggin pain in the ass.
