Ordered from Newegg. FedEx lost the shipment. Called Newegg, and they immediately sent an identical shipment (fyi: Maxtor 60 gig, Soyo Dragon+, and Athlon 1800 XP was what was lost and re-shipped--received my Fong Kai case and Gainward 450Ti from them lickity-split.)

I love newegg too. Bought a K7S5A, crushed a capacitor while installing CPU. They not only replaced the mobo, they reimbursed me for the return shipping charges.

not so hotdeal! i work at newegg packaging dept and i'm going to inform the accounting dept about what really happened to your returned items. they might re-charge your account and file c23.v12 complaint against you unless you have a better explanation about your actions. thank you.

newegg actually had the nerve to send me a duron with chips in the core. maybe they mixed their dead ones with their new ones by accident because the duron they sent me looked obviously washed. working on the RMA now, if they try to deny me for sending me junk, i'll dispute my cred card.

also have a dodgy abit kt133 from newegg but it was refurbished so can't expect much from that. it has your collection of blue screens and random freezes.

Well, one thing that I really hate them is that they stack up shipping even if you buy more than one product. I bought my mobo and a SM card, while I don't think the SM card is really gonna make a difference on the shipping cost, but they added that up.::|

BUT I LOVE newegg, they are good.

.... where is my mobo though? Please come.....I need it.
By the way, for the new comers to this board who don't know newegg.... I can tell you they are awesome. There are hot deals there.

At fed ex we have thermal scans and xray imaging to get a general idea of what's in a package. So occasionally we will keep a package if it contains valuable materials since we can only reimburse $500 at most unless insured as "valuable".

Newegg does rule, I order on monday at 3:00AM and I got my shipment Tuesday morning! That's almost 24 hour shipping at fedex saver costs. Of course I do live nearby and have to pay taxes. There's an option to pay tax.. anybody live in CA not click on that box and skip the tax fee?

Kinda reminds me of my friend who ordered a processor from someone at Ebay and got the processor (OEM) plus another sealed boxed processor. This same friend also bought a motherboard from some online store (I think it was tufshop), returned it because it was buggy and got it back plus a motherboard with the same chipset but was worth twice as much as the original. I guess it was the only one in stock but still... some people have all the luck. But then again, he ran out of money and had to return everything (I couldn't afford to buy it at half price from him).

when u try to skip the tax, they tell u to go back and select a county. i wonder if they care which county tax rate u pick.
