Newegg running out of stock, what can I expect?

Hi all. I'm still selecting parts for a new build, but in the process of it, every few hours or so, more items are popping up as 'out of stock', and Newegg doesn't generally allow backordering. (I'm aware of the auto notify, ftr)

So, my questions are:

* With Newegg specifically, during this holiday rush, can I expect them to potentially restock items on a daily basis? Or am I most likely out of luck all the way through the end of the sale period?

* I read somewhere that their BF sale prices extend through Nov. 30th. Is this correct?

* Are there any quirks, or insider tips regarding ordering from Newegg during a rush period like this, that you could give me?

* If I'm forced to order some parts elsewhere, what are your top 3 spots you would recommend?

I haven't paid close attention to their Black Friday deals specifically, at least not enough to remember from year-to-year, but no, I wouldn't expect them to re-stock at the sale prices - they don't usually. As for BF prices going through 11/30, I dunno - most of the ads I've seen are for sale prices good only until midnight tonight (Pacific Time). I do imagine they'll start sending out "Cyber Monday Starts on Sunday!" promo emails around 12:15am PT, though.

As for ordering parts, if you "gotta order it tonight," I'd check Amazon, or just google for good prices from any reputable retailer. But mostly I'd just wait until the BF/CM madness is over and stuff comes "back into stock" and start/keep looking for good prices. (It's not like the BF deals I've been seeing have been amazing compared to "normal" sales, anyway.) They do often "miraculously"biggrin:/) list more inventory right after a particular sale is over.

Ok, well, I guess I'll end up ordering from multiple spots. I also have the added problem that I have to ship to a PO Box, and Newegg is one of those rare spots that will. I can optionally ship to a UPS store and pay like $5 per box if I have to.

I'm not accustomed to doing holiday shopping so I just wasn't prepared for them to go out of stock so fast. I guess I'll order what I can, and just dig around and/or wait on the rest. :/
