Yes but the 5000aaks and lower models do not have perpendicular recording as the 7500aaks has; which results in poorer performance. There is a significant difference between the 500aaks and 7500aaks from what I have read

I considered the frame as a wedding gift -- to be loaded with all their wedding photos -- but I don't "get" the WS feature: it might be nice for a wide Family-Reunion Photo, but how many pix crop well into that 16:9 (10?) shape?
