Long story short.
Some consumer brought I7 920 from newegg between march 1 - 4, 2010, which ends up having a heatsink made of mold, stack of blank paper as menus, and of cause, a fake I7 920 CPU.
Fake CPU from Newegg
Newegg first stated that those are "Demo boxes" which got mixed up.
Newegg's first response
Intel responded quickly, stating that those are counterfeits, not their demo units.
Intel's response
D&H was said to be the supplier, which they were very very upset and have their lawyers in action to stop those those rumors.
D&H's response
Newegg later clearly stated that those so called "Demo units" are indeed counterfeits from IPEX, and clearly stated that D&H has nothing to do with it.
Newegg's responses again
IPEX responded that those counterfeits came from their suppliers and is Cooperating with Intel to trace the source of the counterfeit.
IPEX's responses
Sorry if I made a mistake on googling.
