It was able to post at 2375 but my samsung pc2700 probably can't cut it, as well as the fact i don't have a very good fan on my ax-7. anyone know if a slk-800 is that much better than an ax-7?

uhh. i think so give in and get a slk-800 like everyone else!

The first line should be AXDA1700DUT3C
Stepping JIUHB
Week 2 2003

I just got mine today too and will test it out tonight.

Mine is:
AXDA1700DUT3
JIUHB0302WPMW

Ours are probably from the same batch so I hope to crack the 2ghz mark too.

running at 166*12.5 = 2075 at 1.7 volts. haven't done any testing yet but it seems stable. this is my cooler LINK

would it help if i upgraded to an sk-7 or slk-800. btw, what is the difference between those 2. dont want to spend too much and not even sure if the sk-7 is an upgrade compared to what i already have.

i think getting the slk-800 is well worth it. it's only 29.99 from svc.com

I got my 2100+ from Newegg last night. Revision B T-Bred (0302). Right now running 2.3ghz (1.750 volts) on my 8K3A+ and Alpha 8045 w/YS Tech 50cfm fan. and it'll go higher.

Nearly a 600mhz OC ....I'm happy.

Got my 2100+ from Newegg yesterday, too.

AIUHB 0301 MPMW

Looks like this stepping/date is hit or miss. My 8RDA+ comes today, so I'll fire it up and see what she's got. Unfortunately, my Corsair PC3200 won't be here until tomorrow, so I'll be using my XMS2400 today. It should have np doing 13*166, though. Maybe that's good. I can burn it it for a day at 2158. I'm curious to see whether my SK6 will keeps the temps OK, too. I really don't feel like spending for the SK-800.

Just wanted to be clear before I jumped on the bandwagon . . . the multipliers are unlocked on the 2100 B's from newegg, and if supported by your BIOS, you can increase the speed by just upping the multiplier, negating the need for faster memory (as opposed to pc2100)?

Thanks!

Yes. Your mobo has to support multiplier unlocking, though. I know the nforce2 boards do, and I'm pretty darn sure the KT400 mobos do, too.
