How have you guys done with frozen cpu.com? I have heard really good and really bad?

I bought my Freezer 64 from FrozenCPU and it was packaged well and shipped quickly. What I thought was a good price though, was only average. Jab-tech had it for $10 less. FrozenCPU does have a nice selection though...

newegg is the worst reseller i have come across in the 19 years i have owned a computer. i would rather spend $50 more from another online or local store just so i won't have to deal with the horrible customer service and lunacy that lives at newegg. save yoruself a headache and buy from somewhere else.

I bought my LCD from them, and I can give them an A+++. Monitor came in 3 days and I couldn't be more pleased. I would definetely reccomend Tiger Direct from my experience.

I'm sorry you had an unpleasant experience with NEWEGG but I (and millions of others) have dealt with them for years and they just keep getting better all the way around. Almost no one can come close to the customer service, speed and efficiency with which they operate. Just go to ratings sites like resellerratings.com and see Newegg's rating there through THIS link ! How can 8150+ reviewers be wrong???

NEWEGG is THE online vendor with whom to deal !!!

Newegg set the standard that online computer parts etailers now try to achieve.

if it were merely 1 unpleasant experience, then i would just give them the benefit of the doubt and move on. but when it is 5 unpleasant experiences, i refuse to ever shop from them again. and i have always added my ratings to them as well, including on newegg's site. its funny that when i make a negative comment on their website it always gets deleted. gee, i wonder why?

Newegg is the best reseller I've ever dealt with online. TigerDirect isn't a straight forward company, so don't deal with them.

As with any place that deals in retail sales, the main priority is selling. Support will always be a lesser priority.

I have bought from and made returns to both Tiger and Newegg.

Most of Tiger's sale prices include rebates. By the time you get your item and then file for the rebates it can take as long as a few months before you see any of the rebate money. Most of Newegg's prices don't have rebates so you are getting instant savings.

Like many said, Tiger's shipping is much higher than Newegg. Make sure you take that into account when you do your cost comparison.

I have also found that Tiger's basic shipping is much slower than Newegg's. Usually by 3-4 days.

One edge Tiger has over Newegg is their 24Hour-7Day Customer Support. Newegg closes every evening and doesn't have weekend support service.

In my opinion, Newegg handles and sells more high quality brand components.

ordered a few things from tiger in the pass couple of months, haven't had a problem with them yet. I personally trust newegg, but ill go for tiger if its cheap enough

cant beat newegg for return policy either. in my case i had a dvd burner go bad for the second time and when i whined a bit about having to pay to ship it back to them again they credited my acct 10 bucks to cover the shipping. now THATS! customer service.
