Do newer protocols [CDMA2000 EV-DO] provide better connection/reception than older protocols [GSM 850/900/1900]? My current cell phone [a Motorola V180] gets absolutely horrid reception whenever I move indoors, and I was just wondering if I would see simlar results from newer phones, or if I can expect to have better reception.
