I didn't even know mustangs were only sold in America. I'm such a noob.
I thought you could buy them in england.
You could get one in the UK but it's not going to be through the dealership and it's definitely not going to be cheap. They have specialty shops that import them from the US and make necessary mods to make them street legal. Same thing in Australia where there's more love for American muscle, but Ford Australia is an entirely different company than Ford US where they have great cars (e.g. Falcons) we'll rarely see in the US.
More European? Great now we have a ford that's unreliable with junk interior

Does that mean we get heated leather seats?
I hear that they are also going to rename it the Probe II.
The current Mustang is too large and while I like the styling, I'd love to shrink the entire car by 10 to 15 percent. If the car gets smaller and lighter, that's a good thing. While I like the new 5.0 engine, if the car were smaller and lighter the same could be accomplished for less.
Why would Europe want the Mustang? They have so many other much better cars...
mustang
-800 lbs
+ a driveshaft that isn't made out of 3" exhaust tubing
+ irs
= beast
They LOVE the idea/look of the Mustang. Up until the last couple of years though, it has been a huge disappointment to them (I have several colleagues who immediately test drove cars from late 90's up until a 2007 model that were sorely disappointed with the car after driving it). The new car is awesome though and fully lives up to the name. They would love to have it over there. If they just build on the current car, add a tiny bit of refinement, reduce the weight, and give it IRS...you they would sell like hotcakes in Germany and the UK.
