Well yeah, I love the originals. Ep1 was dumb. It's only good for showing off your home theater system...it's a waste of movie otherwise.

I still think Ep2 will be better, and I just pray lucas picked bad scenes for those early teasers. That guy couldn't act if it slapped him in the face.

p.s. Natalie Portman is hot. main reason I'm seeing it

man, i hope george lucas doesn't make as many mistakes as in episode II (like jarjar, an unnessarily long pod racing scene, and a death of a cool villian, darth maul)
its not like i hated episode I, but i was very disappointed...

IT looks pretty good. Only thing i dont really care for is the brightness and colorfulness of the movie. It's not nearly as dark and semi haunting in ways that the first 3 really were.

I had it on my FOX affiliate but Global just overrides it and makes you watch it on Global. That's how it is for me anyways. They did the same thing for the super bowl too and it sucked!

It was good but the actor playing Anakin looks (and acts) like a dweeb.

I taped it. It occurs to me if the RIAA and MPAA get their way in Congress I may not be allowed to tape the trailer for the Episode 3. Not sure why that came to mind...probably all the SSSCA crap going on now.

However, I have seen Global mess with things on that station a lot in the past.

If you happen to have Roger's Digital Cable and the "timeshifting" package there is a west
coast Fox affiliate which is never taken over by Global, and they'll probably be showing it
around midnight.

I have starchoice sattelite and they only give us the one fox affiliate. I think it's Detroit. Doesn't matter though. Global picks up all the good shows on FOX anyways, and thus I am forced into watching it though a global feed.
