But then that will give Bill access to all the white house interns all over again...

VP hangs out in the executive building a block away from the WH. He will not only have his own staff of interns, but be well outside of Hillary's buzzkill stare.

She can't pick Cuomo currently. The Potus/ VPotus nominee must be from different states although she could change her registration to Arkansas or Illinois again.

that's an old urban legend, although having the President and VP from the same state does create some complications.

the electors in the electoral college would only be able to vote for one of them, so if the elections were a 2000-ish tight win, Hillary would be elected President but Cuomo would not be elected VP (the Senate would have to elect the VP)

If Hillary ends up on the ballot with Trump, you're damn right I would support him over her! I can't stand that hen!

No need to put it in sexist terms, is there? Or is there?

What is there to recommend the Donald other than continuous shit-talking & the color orange, anyway?

What a difference a day makes....
Yesterday I assumed Joe liked Hillary.
Then just today Joe suggesting Sanders is the better choice because Sanders has the vision.
My bad.
Nix Joe off the list.
I guess Hillary will just have to chose hubby Bill after all.

I was being much more kind than I could have been.

I hate political correctness and frankly, I don't care about your butt hurt, about what you deem sexist. She's a corrupt public figure and I'll call her what ever I want. I don't need a wanker like yourself to try and tell me what I can and can't say.

That Rottweiler daughter of hers needs to stop telling people about how she wants her mom to get elected so the SCOTUS can enact gun control also. She's being groomed to be a nasty hag, like her mother.

Hillary Clinton is...just awful. But I gotta vote for her for the supreme court pick(possibly 2, how long can Ginsburg go on?). But its gonna be a tough win for her even over Trump. Because she needs male votes and white male votes. She has most women and minority voters locked down due to Trump being stupid with his mouth but lots of Bernie voters are disgusted with her and white males have very little reason not to vote for Trump. If she picked Sherrod Brown as her vice president, he is like, younger bernie. He would:

1. Help with Ohio. She needs Ohio.
2. Help with Bernie voters.
3. Help with white males.

She is really facing an uphill battle I dont think her supporters understand how hated she is by everyone who isnt already her supporter. If she was running against a reasonable republican she could easily lose. Fortunately due to Trump and his mouth most women, and minorities of all kinds will default to her.

Republicans need Ohio to win. Clinton could win all the Obama states but lose Ohio, Florida and Virginia and still win the election. I doubt she picks Sherrod Brown because Kasich would pick his replacement and the Senate control is up for grab. She will want a Democratic Senate if possible. I think the most likely choice is Senator Tim Kaine who was an Obama 2008 supporter and could help lock down Virginia. It is the safe conventional choice against Trump. Castro is not as qualified and panders to Hispanics when Hispanics will probably be motivated already to vote against Trump.

I would love Warren on the ticket but I wanted her to run instead of Bernie.
I think Warren moving out of the Senate to the VP would be a huge mistake. If you're focused mainly on a single set of issues, you're much better off as a senator. You can really delve down into an issue and shepherd legislation through while you're colleagues can pick up the slack on other issues. As president, you have to have a much broader understanding of issues. And as VP, you'd be pretty powerless, outside of an advisory role.

I could only see Warren as VP if she managed to get Hillary to agree to some promises, like guaranteeing Warren that she'd be in charge of getting Wall St/Banking reforms passed through Congress.

Hillary is much too politically astute to create an all female ticket.

I read a piece recently that advocated Al Franken. Trustworthy with a devastating wit.

Agreed, but it's going to take a couple months to figure out where Hillary's biggest weakness is. If the liberal base isn't going to come out and vote, then getting the Bernie folks back on board may be the biggest need. I think Warren would do it for the sake of the party. At the very least, I expect Warren to do a lot of campaigning for Hillary.

He would be awesome. I'd love to let him loose against Trump. It may be an issue that he is from a very moderate state. I'm not sure how the Senate vacancies are filled but Democrats have the Governor and the state Senate. It would definitely be a toss up if there was a special election for the seat so it could cost the Democrats a Senator.

The governor, Dayton, is a Democrat. His appointee would serve until Nov of 2017 thus having the advantage of incumbency.

Clinton probably has it all figured out, anyway. She still has to win the nom for any of it to matter.
