Never buy a tablet for specs. There aren't enough tablet apps for Android to justify the $400 price for the Nexus 10.
TheVerge says consider the $100 premium on the iPad a ticket to enter a nice large selection of tablet oriented apps.
But at the same time the ability to dump movies & TV Shows onto the Nexus 10 is nice too.
At this point, I would not be surprised that there are more tablet-oriented Windows 8 apps than there are Android apps, which is why I think Android tablets are toast.
The only time Android tablets are toast is when Surface tablets cost $200-400 MSRP, which will never happen given that Microsoft is charging OEMs $95 per license. At this point, I would not be surprised that there are more tablet-oriented Windows 8 apps than there are Android apps, which is why I think Android tablets are toast.
7-8" > 10" tablets.Let us know what you think DeLerium. I'm more concerned with the size difference, performance, and screen. I don't care about HDMI out or portability, this stays at my house. I'm curious about how comfortable it is to hold while on the couch, in bed, etc...
7-8" > 10" tablets.
I can hold the Nexus 7 comfortably with one hand forever...10" tablets, not so comfortable.
If all this tablet is going to do is sit on your kitchen or dining table, then go with the 10" tablet.

Absolutely not.So do you walk around and read with a 7" tablet? just curious
Do you have to ask? Of course it is.Is this the new overhyped, panicked argument for 2013, like fragmentation or GPU rendered UI or malware?
The one think that would get me to buy a 10 in. tablet is magazine and/or book reading. I subscribe to four different mags now, and I can see reading them on a larger tablet. Still, it's a lot of money for reading and the occasional web browsing.
I have the 10 but its awkward to hold I suppose (esp in portrait). Getting the 7 tomorrow and I can compare. I do like the 10 overall though. Wish it had more apps.
