Nexus 4 or Note 2?

I currently own the Note 2 on tmobile and like it. Performance and battery life is very good but... The size! I like listening to podcasts, pandora and reading articles from Pocket but the size makes it more unwieldy to use. Also it attracts a lot of attention but not for the better. The Nexus 4 is inexpensive and offers good performance. My previous phone was a Galaxy Nexus which I loved but hated the battery life. Considered keeping the Note and getting a cheap iPod touch to use for gym/music & podcasts. Any ideas?

The note 2 is a big phone and if I had a nexus 4 I would trade you in a heartbeat, I am still using a galaxy nexus and I have no trouble with the battery life on 4.2.2

Put a ad up and see what someone is willing to trade you, I am sure you will get a lot of offers and end up with a really good phone.

I don't like the ipod idea because it's another device to carry around, with current smartphones you really only need one device. Good luck on your search

Get a Nexus 4 if you can, now that they seem to have the supply shortage fixed. A friend got one just last week and it's a pretty nice device.

My friend who just got one thinks that the ones made more recently have a different type of back glass or some other type of material that's less prone to breaking. I honestly didn't take much of a look at it since he had a case on it.

Agreed. Is it really that hard to use or are people just making fun? Don't base your phone decision on such a silly reason. People already make fun of my gs3 because of the case I use. Who cares? It's sweet and I like it.

I live in Bronx, NY so such a large phone naturally attracts a lot of negative attention.

If you had Galaxy Nexus and hated the battery life, don't get the N4. It isn't much better.
