Bought 2 32gb models for my kids. Gave them to them this morning. Phone is awesome. Makes me regret my iPhone 6 Plus.

I love my Nexus 6,although i had to slap on a black case to hide the white back. It is a move to get used to limited storage. Had a note 4 w a 128 g card, which I never filled.

Every time I see one of these deals I feel like kicking my own ass for paying $650 for the same phone. I mean, I love the phone, but dang ...

Why I've been preaching that iPhones are far better values despite what people think. You can get the 6S for $650 and sell it for $350 2 years later.

iPhones do hold their value. I guess I was unaware you could buy one for $650. I currently have a 6 Plus that I have a year and a half left on my contract with VZW. My experience has me leaning toward android, specifically the nexus, next time out. If I can buy something that's guaranteed to have the latest version of android for a couple of years for $200 with no contract, then I'm all in. Maybe next BF the 6P will be $200.

Oh, sheesh. You're right. In both colors (I guess white looks a little better?)

I just bought a Nexus 6 64GB Midnight Blue for a great freaking price, now I'm really confused with a Moto X Pure and Nexus 6 ... undecided.

If you can deal with its massive girth, buy it, do not think any longer, just buy it.

Is Nexus 6 better than MotoX Pure?

It depends on what your priorities are. As I posted in another thread, I bought a Pure and was using it when the Black Friday sale hit on the Nexus 6 so I swapped out my Pure for a 64 GB Nexus 6. I liked both of them a lot.

Pure Pros:

Slimmer, easier to hold
Better looking(IMO) & customizable
Moto Apps (loved Assist)
Moto action activation - Chop & Twist for camera and flashlight
micro SD card slot (128 GB)

Nexus 6 Pros:

Runs latest Android (seriously, the thing patched itself instantly to 6.0 when I opened it)
Huuuge screen - a pain until you live with it, then
Compatible with Google Fi
Im my experience, the cpu doesnt get as hot as the 808 in the Pure. The Pure was very warm to the touch under load. At its worst, the Nexus gets mildly warm.

Im not going to argue AMOLED vs IPS screen. That's too subjective for my taste.

BTW, if you do buy the Nexus 6, by all means, spend the money for the 64GB. You wont regret it.

I've always thought for most people, buying a year old Android flagship is the best bang for the buck vs. a current midrange phone.

Now the Nexus 6 is a particularly large price drop, probably since it turned out to be a bit of a niche phone due to the size.

I'm tempted to pick one up but I have so many spare phones lying around doing nothing.

The Moto X Pure lacks a gyroscope(so no google cardboard for you)
The Nexus 6 lack trusted voice(no voice commands for you at the lock screen. F U GOOGLE)!!

Ugh. Want to sell my iphone 6 plus and get the 64Gb version, but MDM at work doesn't support any of the Nexus devices.

Nabbed one. However I'm complaining to Chase if I don't get my 10% Amazon Cash Back. I don't think this is going to get charged by Dec 31st which is the deadline...

I hope the 6P is this cheap next holiday season.

They are back. Ugh. I will wait. I need to wait.

It's been about 2 weeks and I'm very happy with my Nexus 6, still getting used to it's mammoth size though.

Actually just received an Android OTA update today, running 6.0.1 slightly newer build. So glad I got the 64GB model.

I've been getting OTAs once a month pretty much since I got my N6 back in May. It's nice having a device that is so well supported.

I just picked up a 64GB Nexus 6 from Amazon Warehouse (packaging was damaged, device brand new/perfect, under $270 shipped).

Moving up from a Moto G 2nd gen, the biggest difference in size between them, at least to me, is not the dimensions but the weight. It feels like it might have a tendency to more easily let momentum from the movement of my arm/hand pull it out of my grip.

I bought a slim TPU case from Diztronic (I liked the case I had from them for my HTC DNA) but I think I will be looking for something a bit more grippy.

Loving stock Android and the phone so far.

I personally wouldn't buy a Nexus 6 64gb, or any non-uSD device with 64gb storage, at anything over $200. Too crippled for me.

Yeah, that's something people need to think about before purchasing for sure.

For me, 32GB is plenty. I have been using my N6 since May and right now I have 19GB free. My storage requirements are pretty light though. If I stored a lot of media locally I probably would want something else.

Yeah, I like having my music collection locally - when I travel, I frequently run into areas of no service, and it's nice to be able to still listen to music.
