Not really. Apple is crap. There is nothing special about Apple products, they come out of the same factory as cheap "china-tablets" and other cheaper products.

As a poster above said, the one thing that sets iPhone apart is the retina display, but that isn't going to be enough for long.

Your original retort was that apple is better than other tablets BECAUSE other tablets are made in China. Given that the apple products are made in the same place, that isn't a useful argument.

Not that I would defend apple, but the itouch may be $199 but it has been on sale for much much lower than that. Apple has sold so many of them by now that they could probably sell them for $99 and still make some profit. In fact this is what they should do if they dont want their competition to get a foothold in the market.

I understand what you are saying, but I am pointing out that you are just tossing out your opinion with nothing at all to back it up.

I was really just making a simple point. You made a comment (a dumb comment) that Apple products are better than China-made tablets. It's rather ridiculous to say that because iPads ARE Chinese tablets. That is all I wanted to point out, but you decided to make a lot of assumptions about my post.

Way to miss the point. akugami was saying iPads are better than the junk cheap tablets. Could replace "ipads" with non-cheap tablets and the same would be true. It was an irrelevant remark, so I made one.
