I would have preferred a Nexus 7 refresh, newer hardware and smaller bezels. Damn at this point it looks like I'll be passing on all 2014 Nexus devices this time :/

So Google is launching a 6" and a 9" tablet. What happened to a new Nexus phone?
If its a 4:3 AR, its a fail out the gate. We've been trying to get that aspect ratio put out to pasture for years, why dig it up again?

Assuming that our assumptions are correct (1 euro = 1 dollar, prices are 50 euros higher than in the Play Store), the Nexus 6 could start from about $500 in the US, while the Nexus 9 could start from around $350.
It might be true for the Nexus phone, but definitely haven't seen a higher priced Nexus tablet in B&M stores...They usually stick w/ retail price.Keep in mind a lot of B&M retailers sell Nexus devices for much higher than compared to the price on Google Play.
