Yea, I've heard some bad stories about dumpinggoods.com. Could be worth a shot at $29. I'd stick to newegg or zipzoomfly, but keep an eye out. There have been some good deals on this mobo lately

Hmmm, I started this thread and subscribed to it but I haven't gotten ANY email notifications that there have been any responses to it.
I have gotten email notification on other threads that I'm subscribed to.

BTW, I found this dumping goods advertised on a resellerratings page.

I suppose I'll zipzoom it or newegg it.

I just have to wait for the rest of the bundle to become available.
I intended to get the 2600+ Mobile Barton at Newegg.
They're OOS.
I suppose I could go with the 2400+ Mobile Barton.
I need a sweet deal on RAM.
Funds are waay tight.

I'm currently running a P3-500 with 512MB RAM and find it wanting.
I don't think I can afford 1GB for a Barton rig.
Do I need 2700, 3200 or 3500?
Could I go with one stick or 512?
Would that fly and only prevent Dual Channel until I can afford another 512 stick?
Would performance with only 512 be as bad as my current P3 with 512?

Best Buy has 512MB Kingston ValuRAM PC2700 DDR for $89.99 out the door with a $35 MIR making it about $55 after rebate. Some people (myself included) have been getting Hynix memory equivalent to what is put on the PC3200 memory (there is a thread around here on that).

Single channel will induce a very minimal performance difference vs. a dual channel configuration. If you want, you can put a single 512MB stick in now and then put more in later. It is no different than any other memory upgrade in that there are no software changes required.

I'm sold on the NF7-S but I've recently read in other threads that some have had probs with it or that it may no longer be one of the two best OC boards out there.
