So glad the Lions did not extend Golladay, holy hell he's been terrible with the Giants
Just another bad pick by Gettleman who gave him a huge contract that we're now stuck with. Between terrible drafts and bad free agent signings like this He's put us back quite a few years. Big hole to dig out of

If victory-starved Giants fans want to blow sunshine up peoples a$$es claiming Daniel Jones is a quality NFL starting QB that's on them and says more about their inability to objectively assess talent than anything else.

The Giants will never be better than mediocre with him @ QB.

Barkley OTOH did play well although he's wasted on this bunch.

Oh and god do the Commanders just completely suck ass from the top down. Awful coaching in that game. Offensive line was total garbage and Wentz had his fair share of mistakes as well. But the worst part is the OC never made a god damn adjustment once he saw his line getting pummeled from the get go. The defense still has it's issues letting up big play after big play, but I did see some bright spots.

But the coaching is just so bad. Rivera looks like a god damn deer in the headlights. I mean how the hell can you not even get the challenge flag out in time? That is some unseen this right there.

No matter who the hell this team has at any position on or off the field, it is the same old shit year after year. And we all know why but Snyder is never selling the team. There is still a glimmer of hope he is forced out but that chance is about as good as Trump going to jail.

I am of the opinion the Commanders are doing whatever it takes to be intentionally irrelevant. Coaches are doing Snyder’s bidding to help other teams and/or players.

The Wentz trade itself was a bailout to make Irsay happy, IMO and speculation.

7-10 is all but guaranteed.

I already expected the Commanders to be playing preseason all season. They are doing exactly that, with even some pass plays only having deep routes and no checkdowns. Scott Turner treating this like a paid internship.

You realize they'll actually need to win SEVEN games to do this right?

Looking at the schedule I'm having trouble seeing FIVE wins I would be confident enough to bet on (without being given 14 points!) for DC.

I don't think anybody said that. But they have eyes and can say he played his ass off last night and was the best Giant on the field last night, not being made a fool of by Cooper Rush as you say,.

with the weirdness that has happened this year, eyeballing schedules is a crapshoot...just ask the Chiefs yesterday or whoever Miami has played LOL

Yeah "any given Sunday" and all that I know.... parity in the NFL has been a standing goal of the league for a long time now and it's been working.

We've been seeing more close games than ever before thanks to draft and scheduling changes plus the strict team salary-cap.

I forget who said it but one of the announcers during Sunday nights game mentioned that through week 3 we've seen the most games decided by less than a FG in league history.

Time and W/L record will tell whose right here not some random reddit posters.

I've seen a lot of quarterbacks come and go so I know what it takes to win and I have zero faith in any players chosen by Dave Gettleman.

Having said that, Daniel Jones isn't actually the worst QB I've seen and if he were just starting year-two I'd be halfway-satisfied with his play so far this season.

Thing is it's not year-2 it's year-4 for Jones (Rush is a 5th year backup with VASTLY less experience) and aside from not freaking dropping the football every time he gets hit now his play hasn't substantially improved from what I see.

It's too bad for Jones he got screwed with constant coaching-changes but from a fan-perspective that means very little.

They'll wake up and start running the ball after the bye or midseason. Players will also start caring about reaching incentives, and sometimes Vegas phones in a request. Right now the season is too young and every one is making business decisions. Gotta drop seven fast but then get out of drafting too high.

I think we're just saying he wasn't that bad for this particular game. He showed some decent poise on some plays(footwork still looks nervous and unrefined).

I WISH HE SEDUCES YOUR MANAGEMENT SO YOU and the Giants CAN SUFFER SOME MORE.

No that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying last night he was the best Giants player on the field with Barkley right behind him.

Jones got pressured something like 24 times. Many times there were rushers completely untouched coming right at him. He also got sacked like five times. I mean you can look up the stats and do the math but that guy barely had a clean pocket to throw from the entire game. He was running for his life. Picked up seven first downs with his feet. He had drops from his receivers. He never looks scared out there even though he was getting hit like crazy he was always looking down field. He had poise. And he had no turnovers besides one where the receiver slipped.

Last night Daniel Jones played like You want to see a QB play. If he plays like that repeatedly then the Giants might be in a bit of a pickle decision-wise.

Anyone that thinks a rookie QB made him look pathetic last night just does not know the game of football. They don't understand that it's a team game, what it means to have some protection and an offensive line that's not a turnstyle, and some receivers just anybody that can get open and not drop a ball.

The good ol' "diagnose it as something else" secret technique of doctors since time immemorial, utilized in this manner to escape the concussion protocol. Did the Dolphins' owner bribe some people so he can keep on winning.

Endometriosis sufferers were frequent victims of misdiagnosis.

That um, possible paralysis to Tua is the most horrific thing I've seen in the NFL. Ever

Just the way his fingers went all janky and you could see his brain essentially screaming.

Not good.

It was the first thing I thought happened as soon as it did, and here we are, like 12 minutes later.

I wonder if the Dolphins are regretting letting Tua play now. Looked terrible going down.

Edit: Halftime report says he has movement in all extremities.
