I don't think anybody said that. But they have eyes and can say he played his ass off last night and was the best Giant on the field last night, not being made a fool of by Cooper Rush as you say,.

I've seen a lot of quarterbacks come and go so I know what it takes to win and I have
zero faith in any players chosen by Dave Gettleman.
Having said that, Daniel Jones isn't actually the worst QB I've seen and if he were just starting year-two I'd be halfway-satisfied with his play so far this season.
Thing is it's
not year-2 it's year-4 for Jones (Rush is a 5th year backup with VASTLY less experience) and aside from not freaking dropping the football every time he gets hit now his play hasn't substantially improved from what I see.
It's too bad for Jones he got screwed with constant coaching-changes but from a fan-perspective that means very little.
