Wilson is just breaking down physically from being smashed to the turf by 300 lb dudes many 100's of times.

He really needs to retire.... Denver made a huge mistake signing him. (and in retrospect thank goodness the Giants didn't!)
Ah, so you wanted to live Dangerussly?

Russ being sacked doesn't explain the missing wide open guy syndrome he has.

On some Giants social media groups even more Danny Dimes haters are eating crow this week. Doing what he is doing with one of the worst receiver core in the league even, not to mention what DJ does with his legs.

I wonder when the continued haters will give him even legit credit?

Not holding my breath for some

Russell Wilson might be thinking he's a dream, screaming "football gods, is this football hell? I'm being cooked...."

Seachickens are winning with a replacement level backup.

The thing I saw from Jones today that I really liked was a few times when he pulled the football down and didn't pass into an ugly situation.

Idk how much he's improved physically because he always had a decent throwing arm but mentally he's made a lot of progress.

Ready for a little "optimism" from an eternally pessimistic Giants fan?

11 (eleven!!!) wins is now a very real possibility looking @ NY's schedule. And that would only be .500 the rest of the way!

Seems about right.
Finish the Texans and Lions.

Washington games are gimmies for Danny. (Your gut prediction of 7 is already dead in the water).

Then the Giants just need one more.

Best I could actually see is 12 and worst would be 9 wins. (12 assumes losing to Philly twice, to Dallas and to Minnesota)

If you told me that pre-season I would have laughed.

Geno will commit genocide next week though. Seachickens at home are really tough games, even if Metcalf is out.

I think the Kool-Aid would be appropriate if the Giants did manage to win there.

SNF got two QBs I am intrigued with watching.

I'm taking General Pickett's team.
24-20, Steelers.

Anything can happen but I think the Giants will beat Seattle next week.

As for tonight it looks like Tagovailoa will be starting vs the Steelers along with Pickett .... I hope Miami freaking knows what they're doing!

To be fair Seattle IS better than the pathetic Broncos!

Seriously they do have a MAJOR home-field advantage with the crowd in Seattle but I really do think NY is the better all-around team.

Both the Giants and Seahawks seem to have camaraderie and play teams tough. But the Seachickens got home field, which is what makes me think they will prevail.

I am not sure if NY is "all-around" better. Lockett is a better WR than any WR on the Giants. Barkley is better than Walker, but Walker has gamebreaker speed too. Seattle seems to have more promising corners.

The Seachickens at home is going to be very tough. Neal got injured, and we still have no real receivers and might not have our starting TE.

If the Giants had a receiver or two I'd be a lot more confident.

Tua does have a weaker arm, but damn, can he read defenses and crave up the intermediate and short routes. He's a more classic WCO QB.

Pickett has much to learn, but the connection with Pickens is already ridiculous.

hmm, yeah, that's a pretty good series. first set of photos in that link is the same play, but it goes back through several years and games (Well, at least 2 years, anyway, from what I can tell).

Russ is having his "trouble with the curve" moment, for a QB; or getting skittish Manning duck syndrome after, as was mentioned, about 6 dozen annual dirt-poundings-into-the-ground for 6 straight years, lol.

His most recent viral meme was his TE only a few yards in front of him and seemingly in his vision.

Manning threw ducks but he was a monster when he started his Broncos stint. If anything...the excessive expectations of Wilson might be partly due to experiencing Manning first for Broncos' fans.

The "heat maps" also has Wilson showing a clear tendency to avoid the middle while also attacking the outside. The key foundation to his game was the ability to extend plays, similar to Roethlisberger. Coverage breaks down, and he exploited that facet to great success.

Tagovailoa isn't going to be around for long if he doesn't learn to slide!

And Pickett looking like the rookie he is.... lots of potential though!

I'm over the current coaching/staff in SF. I didn't except much on 48hrs for CMac, but over the years the injuries this team has had, falls on the staff at this point. At least this staff can draft better than Trent Baalke, but they still take too many fliers on players with injury history.

At this point Kyle's playcalling is over rated, history has shown blown leads and the defense was fucking embarrassed yesterday and not ready to play, that's on him.

Niners won't go all the way and win it with Kyle at the helm, CMac is going to waste what few little years he has left in SF, he'll put up some historic games, but ultimately won't mean anything in the post season.
