Giant's are going down on Sunday, the Lions are going on a 3 game win streak.I can't believe I'm saying this BUT the Giants need to re-sign Odell.
Is Big Blue a real Super bowl contender this year?
Ummm.... no.
Are they potentially a playoff team?
You betcha! *(and once you get in you just NEVER KNOW)

Probably doesn't help when they don't pump noise through their PA's like they do in SeattleI'm sure it will be tougher than the Texans I'll give you that much!
Detroit's "12th man" is a pale shade of Seattle's though! (and "he" was the Seahawks MVP!)
I am a Final Fantasy casual.it did though! It unlocked some magic key movie beat that made that thing happen, for some reason!
was the point of my post.
....now please post some emo Final Fantasy fan video to explain what I'm saying about magic catches changing everything for no reason. I don't understand that as well as you do.

The Giants are the villainous Shinra
it helps to actually win games to get the crowd into it, Detroit had some decent teams in the 90's and the Silverdome was pretty loud at the timeVery true! (visiting teams have complained)
However you must admit Seattle does have a bit more "enthusiastic" fan-base in-attendance at games then the Lions do on a week-to-week basis.

Seahawks ever get that from the refs? I couldn't believe that bullshit when i saw it, the Lions players had to beg the crowd to be quite so the Jest could call plays or they were getting penalized, i swear it happened more than once
Sooo many 12-9 games yesterday. Broncos/Titans was arguably the only defensive struggle, but that's every game for the Broncos this season. We do have some decent young QB's in the NFL right now no question, but so far what we don't appear to have is a legit next "Brady/Manning" level superstar QB beyond maybe Mahomes, Jackson or Josh Allen. (Burrow has potential to join this group IMO but isn't there yet)
That doesn't matter a lot to me as a hardcore NFL fan but it's a real problem promoting that kind of league to "casual" fans who don't generally appreciate a "12 to 9 final score" defensive battle.
This is even more of a problem when the playoffs roll around.
EDIT: It's also VERY interesting how (mirroring MLB previously) performance in the vast majority of older players continues to fall off since HGH testing was fully implemented in 2014 in the NFL.
Also, Aaron Jones ran for 138 yards despite the Packers not being "solid" in the running game. Packers will still miss the playoffs.
I didn't even bother to watch this game, but like I said their awful 3-6 record had a lot to with injuries. And obviously the lack of receivers that could in any way approach the production of Davante Adams (still, I'm not paying him $28M/season).More interesting by far me is that the Cowboys supposedly great defense couldn't contain him at all. (I watched most of that game)
I don't like the Packers or Aaron Rodgers (as you know lol) but they are a much better team than they played in the first half of this season... which ain't sayin much!
EDIT: Looking at the Packers remaining schedule it's hard to picture more than 4 wins and that's being VERY optimistic with wins vs TN and Chicago. I agree the chances they make the postseason are slim.
Both Doubs and Watson have shown potential, but the rewards will not likely come quickly enough.Christian Watson looked good for the Packers last week so there might be hope?
"Any given Sunday" so there's always hope. Randall Cobb might come back from IR, but it doesn't sound promising when an older player might return from IR. How "healthy" could he really be?Christian Watson looked good for the Packers last week so there might be hope?
Kinda, but it was really over anyways given his age and previous injury history. And helps he won that case.
Didn't suing the NFL after a slip on the concrete basically end Reggie Bush's career?
