dude, that guy has basically no tackles on the year so far. At least, so his scoring shows. so...he's basically a bit more effective than Chase Young on the season, who hasn't even played a game.

So, I'm not sure where you're getting this based on current production, anyway.

But of course that was an amazing play, no doubt. He literally scored 45% of his current (as in: live AOTP) season fantasy points in that one play, as an IDP. LOL

Chase has been stuck in the speed rush prior to his ACL injury and didn't really diversify his moveset.

I mean he's played 13 games so far this year and I don't really know his minutes, but it's still part of it because he's had the opportunities, to at least get tackles. Tackles are big, it doesn't have to be flashy or sacks or anything (Really, I think sacks are kinda dumb and not necessarily more informative than most other tackles, but here we are. and I still get it: again, for contracts, lol. but I digress).

tackles are just a solid way for your GM to value your payday: as a defensive starter, are you following the ball or not? tackles, double teams against you are all pretty good.

But for his first two seasons, Chase has been a guy much more on the ball from what we've seen, at the same position.

Sure, schemes matter and you're always going to be most effective if the team schemes for you more than the other guy, simply on position, but it's not like there's too much "diversity in play" that you ask of your DEs, lol.

of course. I just follow the Giants more closely. I'll have to dig up the stats I saw on a few posts and post them here - but he has been a disruptive DL this year, and those numbers are high. He is basically an explosive play away from happening all the time, and he does disrupt plays. It's only a matter of time before he breaks out.
