The Bills are in trouble and firing their OC might help. Too many turnovers, not spreading the ball around and no running game is killing them. Shame too because I like the Bills. When they're clicking, they're fun to watch.

the giants crew is quite familiar with him, and he was a key part of developing Allen, I suspect the Giants will hire him and fire Kafka, who sucks anyway.

Sideline reporter says she sometimes just makes shit up because she doesn't even meet with coaches at like halftime if there's not enough time. What a complete fucking moron. But at least she's honest I guess. I mean, most other sports people just make up half the shit they spout as well (or its the most basic pointless shit "well we gotta score more points and keep them from scoring points"), they just aren't dumb enough to go on a podcast and admit it.

How you gonna run the ball when the QB drops it when handing it off? That's not the OC's fault.

Bills are being the Bills and pulling another Bills move. That's not a move you make in-season unless there's major issues with your team, which if so, the firing likely isn't going to fix.

It is a shame they're not playing as well (I was disappointed we didn't get a playoffs rematch between them and the Chiefs last year) and hopefully they don't take too steep a decline the rest of the year, but I expect they'll make a head coach change after this year. Oh wow, surprised their current one has been with them that long even. So, maybe not, unless Bill Belicheck is available. Not sure Bill would want that job though but maybe?

'Lord' Burrow is out for the season

Damn that sucks. I say that as a Chiefs fan that loathes when they play them. I'd much rather him be healthy and playing.

Chiefs have played to their opponent this year it seems, so they'd better play well, especially coming off a bye and at Arrowhead. But seems like every year they lay an egg of a game around this time.

Except that she's not honest. Yesterday blondie said she misspoke and has "never lied" as a broadcaster. Despite having repeated that claim previously to Erin Andrews, to which Andrews concurred that sometimes you have to do it if a coach hasn't given you something quotable.

Of course, working underneath the Fox corporate umbrella means never having to say you're sorry. And if you're a pretty face that Roger Ailes would have harassed, then you get to stick around.

It's assumed Belichick wants to break Don Shula's wins record, and increasingly clear he won't be able to do it in Boston. I don't know what Beli thinks, but I find it hard to believe he would jump to a division rival. In a vacuum, Beli would want to jump to a team that could win games and contend. Usually those teams don't have a coaching vacancy so something like the Bills would be a good situation for Bill. I suspect the Chargers will have a HC vacancy after the Super Bowl.

I'm pretty sure the heat of the moment comments were likely the truth.

The walk back is so that she doesn't get canned for snitching out all of her peers, male or female, and to make it impossible in the "legal system" to determine which statement is the truth.

Justin Herbert is pissed and rightfully so. His offense seems undisciplined and keeps dropping passes. It's not even that cold in Green Bay today.

Cheer up, it’s been a good weekend for football. The Badgers won and the Packers won. God is smiling on America again.

Goff's worst game in a long long time, should have had a pick six as well, but fuck it, you get lucky once in a while, Detroit still cannot stop mobile qb's

The Bills put up 32 on the Jets defense. Not too shabby. On the other side of the ball, Buffalo lost more people to injuries.

Well shit, maybe I was wrong and firing the OC was the right move for the Bills.

Lions still winning. Broncos with a 4 game win streak against non-crap teams (but still teams not at their best either it should be noted). This is one of the weirder seasons in awhile.

I disagree, she announced she was dishonest, and so her being dishonest is simply honesty, since now we just assume she is dishonest.

Isn't Fox Sports different? Or was that one of the bits Disney didn't get because of the ESPN conflict of interest/anticompetitive aspect?

I totally forgot about that but saw an article that brought the Andrews thing back up. I guess thankfully they seem to have legit imposter syndrome so felt the need to remind us that they're frauds.

I got one name for ya: Jerruh.

Its interesting how the Chargers seem stuck to just perpetuate that. They don't get talked about enough as a cursed team, mostly because they've had some great teams fairly often, but they have nothing to show for it. One Super Bowl where they got blown out. They've squandered more talent than any franchise in history. Them and the Vikings.

Correct, Fox Sports is one of the leftover parts controlled by the Murdoch family. I was only partly joking about Roger Ailes, but then again Fox Sports said nothing about Thompson's comments while a LOT of reporters across the industry blasted it.

I think head coaches, particularly in the NBA, are sometimes unfairly blamed for their teams falling short. But in this case, Brandon Staley has had 2.5 seasons and their record in close games stinks. If the front office thinks they can miraculously make the playoffs (it's very unlikely if you look at the AFC standings), they should fire Staley now. Otherwise, he's gone at season's end if they don't win a playoff game.

Staley is the de facto DC, and allowing Jordan Love to throw for over 300 yards (with no running game) is a fireable offense. And I say that as a Packers fan.

This is why Eli Manning pulled that draft day switcheroo with the Chargers at #1 and went to the Giants. Refusing to play for them.

Got two championships out of that and the Giants built a great team around him.

After the last ten years though, the Giants have not been a good destination for a QB, in fact, they have been terrible.

---Tonight's game should be a good contest. Whether it will be a lot of fun to watch is another thing, but on paper, good potential.

Picked up the redzone channel sports package on YouTubeTV yesterday. With every weekend's games now having bigger playoff implications, and it getting cold so not as fun to go out and do three dimensional world stuff, it's good to be able to switch around on Sundays. Not enough choices on networkTV and the Sunday Ticket even at 50% off is just not worth it to me either.

The NFL is starting to feel like the NBA where fouls are so subjectively called or not called. Its taking the fun out of the game for me at this point. Players seem to get treated differently if they are superstars versus normal players.

lol Jets, Saleh ~-"give [Boyle] an opportunity, a different style of quarterback. It's really just to give him an opportunity to see if we can do something with the offense."

Tim Boyle is absolutely terrible, Nathan Peterman levels of awful, watched 3 games where he started in '21 for injured Goff and it was a trainwreck

Ah, Josh Allen's year this year is basically the Cell Saga. As reality eeriely reflects fiction.

He'll lose this season just like Vegeta got to see Trunks killed.

Refs did kind of job the Bills but they had the game won....
