Hopefully we get a Browns/Ravens game in the playoffs.
Ravens honoring Ray Rice. Uh... Then again the Ravens have been celebrating another Ray that very possibly murdered a guy, so either they really like the name Ray or the organization doesn't really care about character as long as you beat people on the field almost as well as you stab someone or beat your girlfriend.
Broncos asked Wilson to forfeit his contract being guaranteed against injury or get benched. Wilson said NFL and NFLPA got involved at that point. Which, I don't know why Payton feels the need to just lie (saying they benched him because they want to try to win then him acting dumb like it had nothing to do with the contract). Then again this is the same dipshit that tried playing stupid acting like he had no idea bout the Saints bounties.
The reality is that the owners usually go out of their way to bury all the scandalous materials unless certain conditions are met and they wield power over the media because they can simply deny access if the media tosses too much dirt.
Fans basically side with the owners 99% of the time because their actions, even if out of ignorance, demands only the finest performers on the field. Tyreek Hill is certainly a assault threat. But his cheetah speed makes for good material on film.
The only time a player gets raked through the coals for moral sins is only if the league or one of their owners deems the player "expendable".
Sounds like Walmart is indeed in charge of Denver. It just feels like a Walmart thing to do....
