Worse than that…divisions are won by teams with losing records, so don’t even need to be even average.Yes. They're letting in 14/32 teams into the playoffs. That's nearly half of the teams. So you just need to be slightly above average to get in.
So I'm not hardcore into the NFL, more like extremely casual. So is Love looking like another Favre/Rogers level talent and Green Bay struck gold again or did Prescott and the Dallas defense just shit the bed together in the most spectacular way possible?
1) That's lower than the viewership of the other games. The Packers-Cowboys game was nearly twice that.
I use "free" methods. Not that it mattered since the weather was too much for Miami anyway.True... but given that nobody has (had) Peacock... you can pretty much assume nearly all viewers outside of KC and Miami paid something to specifically watch it. It's not like Prime which a lot of people have already.
yeah he seemed to have all the tools. hey as a giants fan and you a washington fan, we both had horrific seasons. But to see Dallas and Philly have such great regular seasons and then just crash and burn like they did and not win a single playoff game, is just the best kind of postseason we can have as basement dwellers in the NFL.Yeah Baker impressed me as well. I will admit I didn't watch much of him in generalas the Browns weren't really a national draw lol, but last night I was impressed with him. He has a god damn cannon on him and is pretty accurate as well. And he seemed to have pretty good pocket awareness.
The best part is he knocked the iggles out of it!
I watched the extended highlights on YT. Was there a better way free? Many times highlights have terrible excuse for HD, I hold out for the HD stuff. They don't have replay but a press of [<--] a time or two IS replay. No commercials and takes maybe a dozen minutes.I use "free" methods. As well as Baker played, he's still not a consistent dynamic force at QB imo. You have to be real careful evaluating QBs that played the Eagles because everyone looks good, even Sam Howell.they should've never gotten rid of him. coaches let him play when he was too injured in a couple of seasons. in seasons where he was healthy he did quite well with what was available to him.
could he have made it to the super bowl? it's a stretch, but if he was uninjured and had a great O line, a healthy nick chubb and the right receivers i think he could have.
but haslam had to go out and spend a freaking fortune on watson, who will probably be more or less dead weight for the remainder of the contract.
browns gonna browns.
Agreed, and his receivers even dropped some passes in the first half or else the Bucs put up 40 points? Whatever happens for the rest of his career, he's going to get a nice contract extension this offseason.Yeah Baker impressed me as well. yes you be real careful evaluating QB's. Cough, Mac Jones, Cough. Baker has looked good for a lot of this season according to the analysis I've read from folks who watch a lot more football than most. The things he showed against the Iggles were not a one time thing. As I even said above, need another year out of him to truly know, but it's looking good right now.As well as Baker played, he's still not a consistent dynamic force at QB imo. Report that Irsay was found unresponsive in his home on Jan 10th, suspected overdose. The NFL needs to deal with that situation. Irsay has been a mess for some time.
I feel like people confuse/combine him with Manziel, when Mayfield has always been better than that in the NFL. I'd maybe say best comparison is Colt McCoy or Fitzpatrick, he's capable of looking like he might just be good enough to be long term QB, but then something (they or skill players get injured, or o-line doesn't protect them well or they just lose their touch or something) happens and they falter, and make you wonder how they're still in the league. Then again, situation matters a hell of a lot, and Cleveland and Carolina aren't exactly gonna do anyone any favors.
mike mccarthy is staying as Dallas's coach. Fine with me.
