Opinions are like assholes...I mean I'm not saying Detroit can't win or that Purdy is Joe Montana either. He's perfectly capable of having a mediocre game but overall This season he's been a top tier quarterback. But to some of these self-professed football experts they don't give certain people any credit for anything because they are the arbiters of talent. To them it's impossible for certain players to have any real quality talent because it doesn't fit their analysis.

Purdy was mediocre for almost an entire game (that TD toss to Kittle was just a solid throw, moving to his right). Then on the game winning drive, he turned into Joe Montana. IIRC Purdy's only incompletion on that drive was when Kittle dropped an easy catch because he already was looking forward to run. And because the Packers left so many damn points on the field, one clutch drive was all it took.

Overall Purdy is playing a very high level of quarterbacking this season, only continuing the trend of his previous play, not bucking the trend.
