One of the refs was suspended from the ACC for unethical refereeing in 2017 (Duane Heydt) . It's crazy that the players/coaches are worried about fines for speaking out.

Americans love football and supposedly bowl game TV viewership is good. However, once the 12 team CFP kicks off next year, all the lesser bowl games are completely irrelevant. It was already bad this year, because many top NFL prospects sit out their bowl game to wait for the draft. I suspect that over time, some of those bowl games will disappear.

Georgia spanked FSU 63-3 in the Cotton Bowl because the Noles were butthurt about being excluded from the CFP, and decided to rage quit instead. The funniest part is that a couple weeks ago, FSU implied that they would claim a national championship if they remained the only undefeated team after all the bowl (and CFP) games were played (i.e. Alabama or Texas won the championship, neither of which is now possible).

With the collapse of the Pac-12 conference, I would love Washington to beat the cheating Wolverines. Even if Michigan wins, what happens if the NCAA investigation leads to severe penalties in a year or two?

I imagine the Big Ten couldn't be happier about the championship. Current conference champion up against future member. A championship rematch is already set for October 5, which must be a huge divisional game.

Bills vs. Dolphins broadcast was annoying. They kept saying how one of the playoff games was going to be exclusively on Peacock as if it was going to be something amazing. "Sign up now and witness history!" WTF? I mean, we are already signed up for Peacock and we have the Sunday Ticket on Youtube, but I'd be pissed if I was a Chiefs or Steelers fan and didn't have Peacock already. If the NFL does more of these exclusive streaming games I might be missing more games next year.

Enjoyed the Giants whupping the reeling Eagles in a meaningless game for blue, as the Iggles enter their playoffs with even worse momentum, and now get a worse seed and not a home game. Don't mind losing one draft position for that. I watched most of the game and man the Giants put on a clinic.

I do wish that putz Tommy Cutlets lost two of the three games he won that we had no business winning, and we'd have a top 4 pick right now. Fuck that goombah.
