They certainly are one of the more dangerous/severe injury prone plays in football no question however kickoffs/runbacks are an integral and exciting part of the game IMO.

I'd prefer the league make further rule changes in an effort to minimize high speed head-on collisions during returns rather than eliminate pieces of the game entirely.

Heck why not just play flag-football with a Nerf?

Yeah he was short. By like 2 inches. They could have at least used the better spot for fourth down.

It was a lot more than 2 inches. Kelce's knee was down before he stretched the ball forward. Head coaches don't like to use a challenge in the first half unless it's a high leverage situation like a turnover on downs. Ravens D made two great tackles just to erase the sack/fumble.

But boneheaded unsportsmanlike conduct plays by the D gifted the Chiefs 3 points at the end. Ravens are lucky to be down by just 10 points because it felt a lot worse for nearly the entire first half.
