Yea, IIHTG Toyota probably gifted them for Brock, if not went halves on them or something.
He's in the HoF for player contracts that's for sure...sounds like the Falcons are going to cut him though before he is due a 10 million $ bonusCousins was the nice Christian family guy who happened to play quarterback. He was the nicest person on the team and just had that "team comes first" mentality and talked about it. He worked hard and you could tell he loves the game of football and played it for the passion. He also knew that the team needed more help than just a QB and came off as though when it came to negotiations, that he would take a deal that would allow the team to pay him and also be able to afford the other pieces needed.
But then it came time to talk contract and he just was looking out for himself and held out to get the franchise tag, twice, setting an NFL record in doing so, and that furthered to hinder the team as far as salary cap goes.
And I don't blame him one bit for doing so. I would have done the same thing too. Dude bet on himself big time and it paid off huge and now dude has generational wealth for his family.
The time you are talking about with him is after all the drama happened in Washington. He has played it PERFECTLY for himself to build this generational wealth and I applaud him for that.
Besides Tom Brady in his prime, I can't name a single QB that left so much money on the table for his team to fill out the roster.
For the handful of truly elite QBs like Allen, they perform up to the contract. It's kinda crazy, but Mahomes performance has somehow exceeded his compensation. That doesn't mean the roster doesn't change after you pay an elite QB, but it's not the worst "problem" to have. We're hoping Allen does the same, but I just don't see that happening.
YOU F-ING KNOW IT!I'm sure purbeast0 was pleased with the result today.
I only watched the last 2 minutes of SNF, and I sure got my money's worth.Caught the highlights of the commanders game and that was just fucking fun. Amazing last drive. The manage to watch some of the cowboys game and was really rooting for Baker's team and that last play it totally looked like it was Tampa's to get on the last drive, Baker crazy escapes, throws a really wacky little pass, guy makes a move and that has the ball wrestled away from him. Another crazy end. Just the wrong team won.
Yeah the fourth quarter was the best. I watched some of the beginning of SNF then put on the Dune Prophecy finale. Then I got back to the game and it was early in the fourth. The whole thing was fun to watch but those last two minutes were the best.I only watched the last 2 minutes of SNF, and I sure got my money's worth.
Vita Vea dropped back into coverage, then swooped in on the TE and made a bonkers open field tackle. Bear in mind Vea weighs at least 350 pounds, and Cris Collinsworth opined he normally doesn't understand why DTs would ever play coverage.
Then the final play made you wonder WTF just happened until you saw the replay a couple times.
Insane ending.
FtpGood night America, how are you?
Don’t you know me, I’m your native son.
I’m the team they call the City of New Orleans
And I’ll be gone under a hundred yards when the game is done.
I won't bet against Mahomes, but KC's 15-1 record is misleading. In the AFC, the Bills have been just as good all season. But obviously it'll be hard for anyone to go into Arrowhead and beat the champs.Squealers keeping todays first game interesting!
Regardless of what happens today in Pittsburgh tough to pick against KC unless they lose Mahomes to injury.
Edit: So much for that.... KC up 19.
