Fucking Drew Lock has to have his once every leap year good game. What a shit show that team is.
The imperial register records their names, but we must imagine the horrors. Count Hansteiner of Liechtenstein and Count Friedrich I of Abenberg, wealthy men of noble blood, lying in liquid filth as they were crushed by the weight of falling men. Beringer von Wellingen and the governor Burgrave Friedrich I of Kirchberg, overcome by the foul odors of thousands of pounds of feces. Count Gozmar III of Ziegenhain, all his riches and earthly power suddenly worthless as he choked and drowned in a pool of human shit.
Some 60 lives ended, snuffed out in one sudden and revolting moment: crushed by a mass of bodies, lying in their foul-smelling tomb, their life draining away as their noses and throats fill with excrement. How could Hell be any worse?
Anyway, that's sort of what watching the New York Giants in 2024 was like.
sounds good to me, just anyone but the Iggles!I was going to root for the Lions until after they played the 9ers and St. Brown said we got spanked (only lost by 6 points, which, if our damn kicker could actually make FGs, we would've won: 2 missed FGs and 1 missed xp). They're young and hungry which is great, but they're not humble. For this reason, I was rooting for the Vikings. Of course, they laid a goose last night, but now I'm rooting for a Vikings vs Bills SB.
It's funny how we react to those sorts of things. People loathe the Saints because of Bountygate, but I'm obviously not that upset by it. I don't like the 49ers because a few of their players seem like raging jackasses, but that St. Brown comment doesn't even show up on my radar. And then we will be guaranteed the very first 0-5 team. Probably Buffalo.now I'm rooting for a Vikings vs Bills SB.
Yea I know I' just butt-hurt the 9ers had a crappy season and something like this shouldn't set me off, but w/e lolIt's funny how we react to those sorts of things. As long as the Rams lose, I'm good.
The rest of the league loathed the Saints because it was basically intentional destruction of another business's assets. Which probably led to the ridiculous PI call that denied them a playoff run. One can play dirty to get one, but then the other oligarchs can then conspire so the Sean Payton would get no more afterwards. It's funny how we react to those sorts of things. Could be. They also wanted the Rams to win so very badly. The owner pulled a "Major League" on Saint Louis, tanking and being (allegedly) dirty to get the team moved. Had to pay a huge settlement to the city. They're probably all shady, and I doubt the Saints are the only ones doing what they did, but I truly loathe the Rams ownership. The rest of the league loathed the Saints because it was basically intentional destruction of another business's assets. As a Vikings fan I'll never ever root for the Saints again, and screw that "destiny" bullshit. Also as a Vikings fan I am so used to disappointment that it is our Superbowl if they beat the Packers in a playoff game. I'm feeling good about Detroit, they want it so badly too.The rest of the league loathed the Saints because it was basically intentional destruction of another business's assets.
