Of course they have something in the contract that specifies they can get out due to detrimental behavior that could affect their brand. Plus, from the Patriot's actions, and the article, it sounds like the teams could post there - it's just the NFL ordering them to stop. Doesn't sound like the contract is preventing them at all.

You are failing to understand the very simple thing I have pointed out.

If they had values against Nazis, they would lessen their greed, as they are very very very very rich already, and let a non-Nazi owned competitor take some traffic off of his platform. But they have no values, just greed - but they could change that, but they won't. Apparently Nazis are not a red line for them.

I decided to google who had the worst fanbase and was surprised by this survey/list:

The list is shite because who knows what metrics they used, but Philly at #4 of worst to best? And the Commanders at #32? I haven't heard/seen one incident that I can remember about Commanders fans being dicks. Heck, as a 9er fan, you would typically hear at least 1 incident a year of one of ours fighting a visitor fan.

I found three Commanders fights, all dated in the last year, on Youtube, including one where the Commanders guy blind-sided sucker punched a Cowboys fan who wasn't even looking. It's a well known fact that Philadelphia has a bad reputation, and that any incidence is blown out of proportion, while incidences in other cities are not. If this was an Eagles fan sucker punching an opposing fan who wasn't even looking, this would be on world news.

Again, this wasn't about "Who has the worst fanbase", nor about me trying to paint any other fanbase badly, but the fact that many feel the need to label an entire fanbase, where the overwhelming majority are not doing anything obnoxious. Many of the fanbases have done things as bad as anything reported in Philadelphia. It's just not as publicized. If you want to shit on people who are idiots, feel free to do so. I'm never going to defend idiots.

That said, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I was told not to take sports too seriously in an earlier thread, and usually I don't. I've stated my annoyance is with the unfair bias towards the overwhelming majority of the fans in the area who are law abiding citizens. I can probably dig up, and paint every fanbase in a negative light, but that's just stupid and petty.

Again. I was pointing out this is unfair to the 99.99% that are law abiding fans who didn't do a thing.

Also again. Incidences in Philly are magnified. There's plenty of incidences that aren't reported, or widely reported. Just because it happened and someone has video on it, doesn't mean it gets posted. But because it happened at a Philadelphia sports event, it gets magnified beyond belief. It's much easier to find incidences in Philadelphia simply because it gets reported more. I will concede that there may be more belligerent fans. That's not what I'm arguing against. What I'm arguing against is the unfair negative light on which the entire fanbase is painted.

And most of the fanbases out there, and yes that includes Washington and New York fans have no leg to stand on. I didn't want to outright point to any one fanbase as being any better or worse than Philadelphia fans, but there are plenty, and I do mean plenty, of obnoxious fan behavior by sports fans in those cities. Aside from Dallas, which I've never been to a sports game at, I've been to games in those other stadiums, and there's plenty of crap that goes on in those stadiums as well.

It's beyond easy for me to point out bad things about Commanders, or many other fanbases, but that's unfair to the majority of the fans who are not obnoxious.

The direction of this conversation is tending towards negativity due to the judgemental attitudes. If you still feel the need to insult an entire fanbase, please feel free to do so, but I'm not going to continue in that direction. If you still feel the need to do so, that's a character flaw in you.

I did say it before, but I really am done with the direction of this conversation. Sports is meant as a fun escape. If it's about the upcoming game, I will participate, but I just don't have the time or energy to spend it on negativity.
