Ugh, they cleared out the worst offenders in the Favelas ahead of their summer Olympics and shipped them all off to the countryside, at which point, the murder and crime rates skyrocketed in those places.

Looks like the authorities have just been keeping them out as best they can, to keep that number so low.

Ugh, fucking hate the Chiefs... that was a brutal ending to the game. I still don't understand "swifties". If a singer from my favorite band or something else attended games, I would have zero interest they were there or showed them. So I don't get the logic of showing her.

Music and fanaticism go hand in hand regardless the act, if the music has a significant impact on the listener. Swift simply is a tunecrafter at a high level, even though objectively, her singing is....sufficient at most.

I don't begrudge music fanatics when I myself have dedicated time and effort to studying my favorites. From when I was in high school listening to a variety of Mozart operas by different conducters and singers, to buying an 86 cd "complete" Beethoven set, to listening to Mariah Carey's "Emotions" at least 100 times since Dec 2021(I have 104 recorded youtube searches, so the actual listens might be double or triple that), along with Belinda Carlisle songs

I saw almost the first half of the Giants before I left for a group ride with a friend and a new group. They looked kind of bad, and apparently it got worse in the second half. Way worse.

Glad I spend nice weather Sundays outdoors and stopping at cool spots. Colder weather is for staying in and watching red zone. Who wants to watch the Giants anyways 😂

He looked just okay. He looked like a rookie and IMO he took off and used his feet too quickly. He had like 16 total runs I think, with 2 rushing TD's, which is cool and all, but that is not a sustainable offense if that is your plan. He threw for like 180 or something. But honestly his last td and a lot of his passing yards were in garbage time.

They took like no deep shots except just 1 I can remember and it wasn't even close, it was thrown out of bounds.

He took care of the ball though and had no turnovers so that is a positive. He needs to start sliding though he kind of falls forward and he's going to get lit up and/or fumble if he keeps doing that. I hope this is not like RG3 again where he doesn't even know how to slide lol.

My brother-in-law is a lifelong Jets fan. And I've known him for 30 years we were friends before He dated my sister. I always root for the Jets a little bit in his honor. Jets fans who are in their forties have just been tortured for four decades of and mostly just embarrassment.


But now I justwant to see Aaron Rodgers get pummeled and throwing interceptions. He just sucks as a human being . So basically tonight I'm just rooting for the San Francisco defense

For a while they got all Lionsy and I was convinced it was a return to every year prior to last year and they would blow a winnable game. Imagine my surprise when they won!

Jets look...well not exactly terrible but the Niners looked pretty damn good even without Run CMC. Purdy looked like, a completely different QB back there. Just super goddamn effective and strangely, I felt confidant in the guy more than I have before in a game. Not like there was a lot of reason not to, by now, other than just "that vibe" you get, but last night kind of erased that for me.

If they get CMC back healthy for the rest of the year, then damn. If Mason performs this well in substitution role throughout the year, especially if he's required to put in more time, then they are the team to beat after week 1.
