they'll have no TO if they get it back, without the onside they could expect to start their drive on their 40 if not closer, with the onside they'll be looking to start at their 20 or worse.

Not really, your giving the ball up @ near midfield, if the jets can't get a first down they can still punt it back to the 10 or so and pin the chargers back, if the jets had to punt from their own 25 or so that would not be possible..

not really. I mean if the jets move the ball just enough they can get a fg forcing the Chargers to have to get a td which is a lot hard.

a regular kick off(assuming decent coverage) with enough stops will force a punt and all they need is a fg to send it to OT.

Then again Kaeding missed three already I doubt rivers will even allow Nick on the field to try and tie the game.

Can you "beat" another team if they let you win by sitting starters?

It would suck for the colts if they lose to the jets next week. something in the back of my head hopes the colts lose after sitting peyton and others in the third quarter a few weeks ago.
