ive never attempted a field goal kick in my life but i think i could do better than dallas' choices this year. is there a place for me to submit an application?

sorry dallas fans, i have to withdraw my application from the kicker pool. it seems my team desperately needs one; and it'll be a much easier commute for me.

Hmm, I wonder why someone with a Pittsburgh oriented avatar would feel that way

Pittsburgh didn't deserve to be in there after losing to cleveland, chiefs, and the raiders. Of course I would have liked to see them in there though.

This was easily the best game of the weekend.

I don't know that anyone can stop the Indy offense, but if the Jets can do to them what they did to the Chargers, it may be a good game.

"Nathaniel James "Loser" Kaeding (born March 26, 1982) is an American football placekicker who currently misses kicks for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League."

bwah!

I knew I shouldn't have watched the game... The moment Nate stepped up for the first FG, I knew we were screwed

[Q]In the 2009 NFL Season, Kaeding completed 32 out of 35 (91.4&#37 Field Goals. His season long of 55 yards came in a Week 12 victory over Kansas City. [2]However during the divisional post season game against the New York Jets he missed three field goals, which ultimately cost the Chargers and knocked them out of the running. He was consequently fired after the game in the post game conference. [3][/Q]

lmao at Wiki

Nate and his wife, Samantha, have two sons, Jack (born on May 7th, 2008)[4] and Wyatt (born on August 17th, 2009)[5]. After seeing that their fathers life was crumbling like buildings in Haiti, they filed for emancipation.

Personal Life
In January 2008, Kaeding began writing weekly movie reviews for [1]CorridorBUZZ, a daily arts & entertainment web site serving the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids, Iowa corridor.

[edit] Battle against Shayne Graham

Kaeding went up against Cincinnati Bengals kicker, Shayne Graham, in a contest to see who can miss the most field goals in increasingly shorter distances. After they both missed even pushing the ball through the goalpost whilst standing on an elevated platform right in front of the very center of the post, the universe subsequently imploded.

Well I'm glad if someone had to beat the Cowboys it was the Vikings

I like Favre, it would be cool to see him get another superbowl after waiting what, 13 or 14 years since the last one?

About the game today though, I thought it a little silly to keep the starters out and run the score up so late in the game. By the time it was 27-3 in the 4th, there was no point in doing that. Just more risk of injury, and it's not like Dallas and Minnesota really rivals in the way that the Cowboys v Eagles or Cowboys v Redskins are. It also might contribute to making them overconfident going into the next game, as the last couple of scores were against a team that had all but completely given up.

I mean, going for a TD on 4th down with like 2 minutes left? That's pretty damned lame.

I'm going to the game in Indy next weekend!

I'm jealous! Have fun! I actually like both of those teams. This is gonna be a fun time with the 3 remaining games. I guess if I had to pick, I'd like the team that's either never won a super bowl, or hasn't won one for a long time to make it. Spread the love.

wow, go sanchez, of all the SC QB's in the NFL I would have never thought Mark would be the one having so much success.

HAHAHAHA, I knew it was only a matter of time before the old, tried and true Chargers would show up and choke. Thank god it happened before they played my Colts.

Or you can just cheer for Indy.

The Jets played the Colts tough a few weeks ago, but had the Colts kept their starters in, they would have won. It is going to be a tough game, but you won't find a Colts fan alive who didn't want a rematch with the Jets over the Chargers. We were just waiting for the Chargers to have their annual playoff collapse and fortunately, it happened quickly this year.

Even though it will probably be a tough game, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if the Colts came out and destroyed them. If you saw the game a few weeks ago, you saw how absolutely pissed the Colts' starters were when they were pulled, and this might be their "revenge."

I feel I must post in this thread. I was going to tattoo my ass with a nice Dallas star after our Superbowl victory this year. Unfortunately, that will not be occurring this year. I am devastated. We got embarrassed by the Vikings a team that is clearly better. (Losing Flozell hurt A LOT!!).

*sigh* Back to the drawing board. Another failure of a season

What are they supposed to do? They are in FG range but if they kick a field goal they are running up the score. Hand off to AP and they may or may not get the 1st down to end the game. Throw caution to the wind and throw a pass into the end zone. Why the hell not. Dallas had quit so fuck em.

Come on guys, it was only a matter of time before the Chargers had their annual playoff collapse. Fortunately for Colts fans, the Jets took care of business for us. I have to admit, these Jets are kind of fun, but as a Colts fan, they can wait a few years until Peyton is gone to have their fun.

As for the Chargers -- whenever Norv freaking Turner is your coach, you don't ask if you will lose in the playoffs, you just ask when.

I told a friend that I would be mildly surprised if the Vikings beat the Cowboys. Well, I am INCREDIBLY shocked (and sad) at the level of whoop ass laid on the Cowboys today. I was hoping to see Favre get planted several times courtesy of Ware.

I think a Colts vs. Vikings Superbowl is coming up.
