True, but homefield will more then likely play a pretty important roll in this game. Although, Pitt can win the game as long as coach Cowher <<sp doesn't do his stupid ultra-conservative game play after the first half...

btw, how about that blockhead play that Jerome Bettis did on the 5 yard line at the end of the game....

I'm sorry but the Broncos did not get lucky while playing against the Patriots. Looking at those turnovers the Broncos caused them all with the exception of the punt return fumble that the Patriot player dropped. Did they run all that well? No but they were able to run when they needed to in order to make first downs and score. Yes there was that BS call of pass interference but there isn't anything that can be done about it now. I really wish that the Pats fans would stop trying to make excuses for their team or saying that the other team got lucky and just acknowledge that the Broncos played better than the Patriots did that game.

Look, no one is saying they don't derserve to be where they're at, but 6 turnovers by a 10-1 postseason team with 3 rings is lucky. There is no way to deny that.

No that's called poor ball handling by the opposition although a couple of those turnovers couldn't have been helped as hard as the player was hit sometimes directly on the ball.

Bettis has fumbled ONCE all year, yes it was at a HUGE time, but it fumbled our Def stopped them and their Kicker choked, thats it, Steelers Win!!

Both punt return fumbles were caused by a direct hit to the ball and then once the returner just couldn't catch it. Those 3 turnovers are the very definition of luck in football. Brady throwing interceptions is just him scrambling to get back the game and making bad decisions.

Well, yes it was stupid!! he 'alone' almost cost the Steelers the game with that poor coaching. Thats why they haven't been in to many playoff games and WON, IMHO, I mean last year they were 15-1 and they should have went to the show...

and Cowher <<sp definetly outcoached the Colts today during the first half but he must have took a nice long nap during half time 'cause he never woke up

I understand that at certain parts of a game some gameplays must change, however, what he does during the second half of games generally costs him the victory, just like the San Diego coach.

He of all people should have known better and during the second half when he did run with the ball he was holding it like a loaf of bread and I was thinking that he was gonna do it then but he didn't.

But cudos to the Steelers they certainly deserved to win today should be an excellent AFC championship game.

Hey, I'm a pats fan and here's my take.

Denver showed up to play, no argument. They hit hard and they wanted the game pretty badly but you cannot possibly say that all 5 turnovers were caused by them. At some point luck plays a factor. Regardless, they won but I don't think they have much of a chance against the steelers.

If it were down to Jake vs. Jake, I'd cheer for the Broncos, but wouldn't mind seeing the Panthers win.

That way, the sAints can see what they threw away...
