I just hope I don't get disappointed by the Packers. I mean I have seen Favre pump fake then chuks one in the air for everyone to grab and goes to the bench like nothing happens. If he is having a day like that I am not sure if the running game will do it. The good thing is they are playing in Lambeau and the Giants have some injured players (is that right?) I heard something about them playing tehir secondary on defense, is this true ?

I mean there shouldn't be any reason for the Packers to loose.

I sure hope they're playing their secondary, it would be kind of comical to only see linemen and linebackers in there.

Both starting CB's are hurt. Sam Madison has an abdominal muscle strain and Aaron Ross dislocated his shoulder twice against Dallas, but he swears he's gonna be able to go against the Pack. We'll see.

I would give anything to see Favre end Brady's perfect season. Nothing like the old guard to step and show the kid who is boss.

Edit: And I just love that the Packers are fan-owned.

That would be the sweetest way to end this season! Go Packers!!!

I'll be rooting for the Giants, but I see no way they can win. They are just too banged up in the secondary, and Eli is just awful in the cold.

Current forecast:

Jan 20 Partly Cloudy
10°/3° 10

and the 10 is the HIGH, this game starts in the dark at 5:30, it'll be about 6 degrees by then. I don't think the cold will affect the Giants too much since they're a northern, outdoor team, but man I would NOT want to be at that game. There's times when watching it for free on TV really makes sense!

I really like the Giants, they won me over in the Pats game. I think Coughlin is a hell of a coach, they have a solid D, good backs, and Manning can put together a good game. This is a cool team.

Nevertheless, I bleed green and gold, love the Pack, and hope we kill those Fing Giants on Sunday!

Coughlin was always kind of an ass. He was on a short leash this season, receiving just a one-year extension in 2007, and would have been canned if the team had struggled.

There's a huge difference between NJ northern and Wisconsin northern, especially right now when they are training. People that I work with couldn't even believe the avg temp in GB vs the meadowlands. Add into that that it's projected to snow Sat and Mon, so the forecast could likely change to snow.

I predict packers at 10+

On paper the Packers are the stronger team but then so was Dallas & we saw how that worked out!

Anyway the cold will hurt both teams passing games which should somwhat negate the obvious advantages at QB & WR of Green Bay & turn this into a defensive struggle to stop the ground-game. This will slightly favor the Giants who have two rushing threats in Jacobs & Bradshaw vs Grant for the Pack & this may well decide the game especially if it snows & we have a slippery track.

I think this will be a very tight game with the final outcome decided by less then a touchdown & I like NY to pull off the upset.

Giants - 24
Packers - 21

You do know that it snowed like crazy last week and the Packers scored 42 points?

He has no idea what's going on. The packers love this weather and do very well in it. The temp on Sat was ~20 degrees throughout the game with the snow. Apparently he knows something Vegas doesn't, as Vegas has the packers up by 6.5. Suddenly he thinks the Giants will be up by 3? Talk about delusional.

I will hold to my Packers at +10.

Giants have been the underdogs for most of this season. Without Barber and Shockey hurt recently there is less trash talking. They can finally concentrate on playing the game and letting Manning grow into his role. All seven draft picks have played so far this season and it?s great to see these rookies step up when it matters. I think it will be very tough to beat the Packers but don't be surprised if the Giants pull another win. They're a really young team with a lot of heart.

Giants had 8 picks this year but all 8 played. And as for the Giants being banged up Ross and Madison are expected to play. Havent heard bout Dockery yet.

It also snowed several years ago at Green Bay in the playoffs & the Packers lost(to Atlanta). I think it also snowed at Green Bay when the Packers played the Vikings in the playoffs & they lost as well(that was the game Randy Moss wiped his butt on the goalpost).

Yes, GB has lost two playoff games at home since GB came into being. But GB is 13-2 at home in playoffs....a significant stat.

Wow... this is what, a 6:30pm game? The high temp that day is going to be about 5 degrees, according to the weather.com report I just looked that. Temps might fall below zero during the game.
