expressing his aggression in an unhealthy manner.
You clearly know nothing of football.
expressing his aggression in an unhealthy manner.
Quiet you bitches. The Bears had an entire game stolen from them by the refs when they called a fumble on Jay Cutler after he clearly stuck the ball across the plane of the goal line. Bad calls against bad teams should be expected. Play through that shit!
Guess that makes up for the game they were given by the refs against their first game vs. Detroit when Calvin had that game winning touchdown catch ruled incomplete.
Actually they had the ruling on the field correct in that game. It's a stupid rule, but it was a correct call.
Have you read the rulebook? It doesn't come close to supporting the call on the field.Actually they had the ruling on the field correct in that game. It's a stupid rule, but it was a correct call.
More and more getting turned off by the NFL.

Um, WTF are you talking about???? if the call was not even close to the rule book then why is the NFL bitch slapping him with a fine?

Uh, he did do such a thing. The rule talks about maintaining possession when going to the ground. Johnson did that, and, in the process of getting up to celebrate, let go of the ball. The rule was incorrectly applied. You don't have to crack a rulebook to know you have to maintain possession. He did no such thing. His ass hit the ground and the ball came out (even if it was under his own power) before he could even get up to celebrate. I wouldn't blame the refs if they called it a catch, but I can hardly blame them for saying it wasn't.

NFL = soap opera for men
i have been for the past 4 years or so. I dont remember when i watched a full game. And the superbowl is a joke. all it is a 4 hour commercial. why do you think so much hype is put into the "new, funny, clever, witty superbowl commercials"? if it wasnt for those no way in hell would the networks have enough viewers watching to pay for the air time.
in mid-January, the Wall Street Journal analyzed the actual amount of play time of the average football game. They added up the amount of time the ball was actually alive and in play in four different games, and it averaged out to about 11 minutes. They concluded that the average game broadcast on TV shows 17 minutes of replays and 67 minutes of players standing around.
Agreed. People wanted to see the refs side with Johnson on that one because he had that one in the bag, but the reality of it was he just let go of the ball too damn quickly. Agree with it or not, I think they called that one according to the playbook which may or may not coincide with what is logical or what should be correct. It's just how it goes.
Item 3: End Zone Catches. If a player catches the ball while in the end zone, both
feet must be completely on the ground before losing possession, or the pass is incomplete.
If you call that "maintaining possession" then every in-and-out of the hands incomplete pass is a fumble I guess That ball was in his hand for a millisecond, that's not maintained.
Most sports are this way. The actual action of the sport is generally a fraction of the run time of the game. I agree the NFL has gotten really bad about this, but its not like other sports are really much different.
You know how I know you're a Bears fan?If you call that "maintaining possession" then every in-and-out of the hands incomplete pass is a fumble I guess That ball was in his hand for a millisecond, that's not maintained.
Seriously though, can we fire Roger Goodell? He's the worst thing to happen to football in a very long time.
This guy is a beast. I was able to play against him in HS. I was a guard and a center while he was playing. He typically played nose guard and I played right up on him.
Not fun at all. I was 6'3 and 170lbs at the time.
I can only imagine the hurt he puts on QBs now that he's receiving top level athletic training.
You know how I know you're a Bears fan?
