Rex Grossman for probowl!

I cant believe they didnt get rid of his ass...

Hes starting this year, again.

The rest of the team will take them to the playoffs, again.

And he will blow the championship/superbowl, again.

are you nuts? get rid of his ass? over last year? hahah hell no.

if they did not get rid of him teh 3 years befoer when he continued to get hurt and miss the season there is no way they are going ot get rid of him for having a mixed year. At least he was healthy all year! thats a improvment!

He had nowhere to go but up.

He still had 5 games under 10 QB rating, 2 of them were 0s... one game robbie gould had more passing yards...

Lets not forget we almost lost to the friggin cardinals because of Hex Gross Man

hahah yeah i love the stat that Gould had a better game then he did.

they aren't going to get rid of him. no matter how bad he does this year. that would be admiting they shouldnt have stuck with him the last few years.

but man the guy has talent. just wish he could over the flakyness. having (tied) for the most 100+ qb rating also having the record for the worst in one season is bad.

Romo's a Homo? I do remember Troy's Boy's. A bunch of shirtless dudes painted up in the stands. I remember Aikman looking up in the stands, the look on his face was priceless.
In my view Romo got completely hosed last year. The refs signalled first down, then changed their mind and gave Dallas a horrible spot. But it was time Dallas got hosed, karma time.
Go niners.

BTW, nice "proof" you have there - someone elses opinion

I consider the writers at Sports Illustrated/fox sports/espn to be close enough to proof for analyzing football. My fault for expecting you to understand that. Good day troll.

Er, a lot of these writers make some pretty lousy predictions... but if it makes you feel good, more power to you

My team is ranked higher than I'd put them in that list as well, so I'm not bashing that list just because the Seacocks are rated so highly on there...

Someone is bitter.

What would I be bitter about...

It's ok, I'll let you back out with your dignity intact

Amusing post, by someone from Maryland who I would assume is a Redskins fan.

Who should have replaced Romo in the pro bowl last year? McNabb would have if he hadn't gotten hurt. No other QB in the NFC deserved it. Plus, you act like he is hyped up this year...all I hear is "romo choked" and "romo proved he can't do it" (despite the fact that as a quarterback, he played an excellent game against Seattle. witten himself admitted that its his fault he didn't get that first down, he thought he already had it and wanted to squirm out for the score, rather than just falling forward for an extra yard).

Its simple. He's a young, likeable quarterback for the most popular franchise in the most popular sport in the country, and he's worlds better than their previous 50 QBs since Troy Aikman (Carter-Hutchinson-Henson-Testaverde-Bledsoe-Leaf-God I can't go on), so of course you're going to hear about him, both good and bad.

I knew someone would dig up this thread the first time he did anything. It's been one game.

Well the question was why so many tony romo-homos and tonight showed the rest of the country what we have been seeing a glimpse of.

Does he have to prove it over a whole season? Of course, but who wouldn't get excited about 345 yards passing and 4 touchdowns?

Yah, I think he had 16 completions and four of those were TDs! Sure, NYG doesn't have a premier defence, but it's still nice stats.

Romo is young, charming, and brings some energy to the team. Dallas fans have been longing for that type of player for almost a decade now.

I loved him during the playoffs against Seattle.

GO HAWKS!

 I hate the cowgirls. I'll root for any team that plays against them.

Eli was playing against the Dallas secondary in which there was one of the worst matchups I have ever seen (Burress vs any of them) and yet he didn't win the game.

Three passing TDs and a rushing TD mean nothing?

Right now the Cowboys are the team to beat in the NFC.

Don't forget a -33 yard play that he ran back, juked two guys on the defense, and converted into a first down.

Yea. I thought "well crap, the tide has just completely turned in the Rams favor...and just looked on in amazement as the two defensive guys who zeroed in on him just overshot him, then he juked that other guy, then made the first down. The Rams were so embarrassed they had to take a timeout.
